The Russians didn't do that. Go use your socialized medicine to buy a brain.

SO are you specialized to give people democracy to make the bad, dark future of your life and theirs too? But just who asked you to give them the democracy as you forced into them to say that they would have to have it?

There is no difference in Afghanistan and Iraq in whatsoever, as far as your calling the democracy is concerned.

SO YOU ARE VERY HAPPY TO GIVE IRAQ THE DEMOCRACY BY HAVING THEM CARRYING THE DAILY UNREST AND BIG VIOLENCES THERE, as well as in Afghanistan?

WHAT HAS THAT TO DO WITH SOCIALIZED MEDICINE, AS YOU NEED ONE, DUMBO?

What democracy is in Afghanistan by having the government supporting making money sending lots of Opium? AS there is that Iraq with daily bombing, there is fighting against US soldiers in Afghanistan every now.

You the dumb fool would still not get it--US with Nato, as time after time after each Nato country withdrew feeling like a defeat, yet with the huge sums of resources and big armory more THAN THOSE OF THE RUSSIANS while they were there, US just happens to lose more lives plus those of dead NATO lives and resources than the RUSSIANS WITH LESS RESOURCES --this is where US is doing badly as a big loser.

When it is not saying the money could be used for something else, the criteria of the meaning is that US military is no winner IN MODERN TIMES, as could not win any wars, from Vietnam, Iraq and everywhere else.
So far, by exercising US military deployment, US is seen as a sore loser, and THAT IS THE CRUCIAL point of all to it in this new world.

yet who is it the world turns to when they want help? the US.

when an NPR reporter was in Syria, she was repeatedly asked by the Syrians, whom we have never had great relations with, why the US wasn't helping them...

It's because of the republicans, genius. Economy wise, oblumber is totally clueless and worthless.
The booming red states and the election of 2010 which stopped oblumer/pelosi spendathon has gotten things under control. The republcian led congress standing firm on spending forced the government back into control. Try to keep up with everyone else. typical liberal claims for others work, blame when you fail.

No, doofus, you are seriously delusional, kidding yourself and/or totally out of touch with reality if that is what you think. It isn't because of lying, cheating, stealing, spinning, losing repugnantcans and never will be. GWBush & Dick Cheney made sure of that. Repugnantcans are done in this country. Boner and McConnell made sure of that. Not a thing you stated has changed anything. The people not only re-elected President Obama but his leadership has totally taken this country out of the garbage can you repugnantcans and your dirty, theiving tactics got us into. You can scream and pound all this bullsh!t as much as you want, but nothing is changing and at this point it is a very moot point. You and your ilk have basically become a non-entity to the rest of us. President Obama just keeps on keepin' on and the U.S.A. just keeps getting better and better in spite of you and your idiocy.

If you are the US that is what you say of the success without mentioning those who lose.
People are not supposed to be slaves for his country.

ASK THE PEOPLE IN US THEN about Afghanistan as how they like it.
They will probably tell the same thing.
What is all the hate AS YOU SPEW,AS THE REALITY IS THE SOLUTION.

PEOPLE HERE DON'T WANT US LEAD THEM INTO FURTHER CHAOS AS US PEOPLE SHOULD REALIZE TOO THAT IT IS A NEW WORLD, that the world out there is no longer as you think that you have MUSCLES TO CRUSH THEM.

This is not a big country which can spare of a lot of lives, and that was why Canada withdrew upon people's demands.
Besides, people want no police state Big Brother here and all those drones and so on, beyond the snooping.

Not just BASICALLY when THERE ARE NO SUCH BAD PEOPLE WHO don't DO THOSE terrors as in US, the problem is that some think US is all that good (but not looks like it these days), they will follow and take US model to do whatsoever, in hacking and so on.
What do you not comprehend in Iraq and elsewhere--US has WON NOTHING? It is time the US people need to think about it, and ask some others else.

There is no point to position a blind direction to glorify US when your Bush always said about sacrificing others while the new planet is the reality. Nobody lives for a hypocrisy country nowadays, as people live their own lives.

You can go your own way if you want to sacrifice yourself. Try it if you can convince them people here then, but this country should be a sovereign state with its independent policy as that is only fit to these changing times.
Maybe the people don't count on you as you count on them whether to join in. There are too many scams and spams and maybe hacking too, from US going here.

There were comments merely to state the realistic reality today of the new world that people are facing with.

These are new times as changing times.

People don't want big brother here.
In regard to the big brother stands of US, people generally don't want it here and elsewhere too.
Those who glorify US already have gone there, since the population does not seem to increase much here.

Comments were meant to let people think that US can be the choices for many, based on its situations now with lots of terror potential happenings, so as to act on the Patriot Act.

Yet, people seem to think there are no other countries which are good somewhere else , except the US. They don't even think of other people have their backyards fine and well too, as some places and countries are also regarded as good ones for others, besides what others say of the US.

However, when US is that great, people can go there.
But based on choices, if there are no such hysteria situations, people need not be the extremists to do useless things elsewhere as US does, including the types of programs like Patriot Act, because this and others are not the US.

As a matter of fact, since times have changed,if you were to ask the people here, many and the majority of people would probably tell you the same thing if they are here to speak as some might even be more critical.

That is all it is, so that people can make judgment. Nobody says you have to agree, but anyone can do his/her own thing. This is a free forum for people to express the realistic facts and opinions.

Those were the facts which were said as comments in respect to the today's world.
And people can believe in whatever they want to believe and position their stands.

''These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee.''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."

Now, where were Bush's "warnings"?

There weren't any.

He was pushing for home loans through the same entity.

Apr 15, 2012

KABUL — Taliban suicide bombers and gunmen barraged the diplomatic quarter of the Afghan capital and Parliament for hours on Sunday and struck at least three eastern provinces as well, in a complex attack clearly designed to undermine confidence in NATO and Afghan military gains.

As night fell, there was still sporadic gunfire in the capital, and the police had cordoned off parts of the city. The airport was closed to traffic, underscoring that although the suicide bombers and gunmen were few in number, they could hold buildings for hours, disrupt normal life and terrify locals.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attacks and described the extravagant onslaught as the opening of their spring offensive.“This is a message to those foreign commanders who claim that the Taliban lost momentum,” said Zabiullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesperson.“We just showed that we are here and we will launch and stage attacks whenever we want.”

October 15th, 2012

Now in its eleventh year, the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan is reeling from crisis to crisis. The U.S. government has spent nearly $600 billion on the war, yet the Taliban insurgency is unbowed. Afghan National Security Forces, which the U.S. is training, hold their overlords in contempt. In a wave of “green-on-blue attacks,” Afghan soldiers have killed 51 American GIs so far this year. And the Afghan people continue to suffer extreme poverty, disproving claims about the successful reconstruction of the country.

The total number of record civilian deaths in 2011 was the highest yet at 3,021, an increase of 8 percent from 2010 and a 25 percent increase since 2009. Deaths cause [sic] by the Taliban increased by 14 percent to 2,332. It was the fifth consecutive year of increased civilian deaths.

Poor teabagger.
