I hope that Rep. Sullivan now works to make sure that all his constituents have the medical coverage that he had so we may all receive the care his has gotten.

Sarcastically, you are correct. Actually, I am equally as stunned about a GOPer having a substance abuse problem as I would be about a Democrat cheating on their spouse. Although, Republicans seem to do that really well too.
I see your disdain for career politicians in general. LOL

Do you really think, even for one second, that "We the people" will get medical coverage anywhere near what the elitist in congress get? If you do I want what you are smoking.

Although I totally agree with your disappoval of Mayer Krappy (who is the worst mayor this town has ever seen), why do you always have an alcoholic beverage in your avatar?
The alcoholic beverage is always a glass of red wine, which has been proven, in moderation, to have health benefits. An occasional glass of wine does not make someone an alcoholic.

Read up on ole Ben Franklin if you think MOST of those people don't have some issues. I recall a brothel house in California that was busted and the Madam threw a fit about the log books- because of the Great men in them. It was never made public! We don't know who those men were and never will.

What the F?
av·a·tar (v-tär)
n.
1. The incarnation of a Hindu deity, especially Vishnu, in human or animal form.
2. An embodiment, as of a quality or concept; an archetype: the very avatar of cunning.
3. A temporary manifestation or aspect of a continuing entity:

I have observed that if you are registered as a Democrat with the Tulsa County Election Board and you live in John Sullivan's US Congressional District, he NEVER reads what you write him in letters sent by USPS regular mail.
]
And, he prefers that you use his US House of Representatives Web Site to send him "electronic mail," aka "email."

I have yet to receive a reply from him that actually has about what I wrote to him in the first place.

I told the folks at his South Tulsa Office that I know that he has staff screening correspondence so that he won't read anything contrary to his own agenda. It's like him saying, "When I want your opinion, I will give it to you."

One time, Sullivan bragged in an email and in USPS mail, too, that he voted for the approval of a raise for veterans.

It wasn't even a raise. It was the annual "Cost Of Living Adjustment," aka COLA, which those on government pensions get every year.

All a Cost Of Living Adjustment does officially is to "ensure" that your money next year will have the same purchasing power as it has this year.

I have been getting a government pension since March 1995. I have NEVER gotten a raise ABOVE THE COLA amount.

In fact, I cannot buy as much this year as I did last year on my (according to the federal government) fixed income pensions.

I hope we do have some form of health care reform... but I do not like the idea of people being fined for not having health insurance... I read an article where it is 1,000 fine... I do not know, if that is a person... or family... I need to look that up

Mr. Doty I just read your Bio and you say you are a Christian. First off I don't think any so called Christian would vote for a Democrat that believes in killing babies aka ABORTION! and if you were such a wonderful Christian man why don't you pray for him rather than put him down. You need to read your Bible a little more. I think you will find scripture in there thats says speak evil of no man. You need to take a long look at what the Democratic party stands for. You yourself said that John Mcain was an adulter because this is his 2nd marriage. The Democratic party stands for abortion and homosexuality it won't be long if there not already protecting pedophiles, but yet you look at the 2nd marriage issue (adultery). You will give account for all of your actions one day before God. Even what you did in the voting booth.
