Just proving you wrong once again, if you can look past FAUX to get your "facts" and do some actual research, you wouldn't find yourself in such predicaments.

Wasn't reffering to the HOUSE and no the dems didn't.
107th Congress, 2001-2003, Democrats in minority: 71 cloture motions filed
108th Congress, 2003-2005, Dem minority: 62
109th Congress, 2005-2007, Dem minority: 68
110th Congress, 2007-2009, Republican minority: 139
111th Congress, 2009-2011, Rep minority: 137
112th Congress, 2011-2013, Rep minority: 87 (so far)
This suggests that Republicans threaten about twice as many filibusters as Democrats do. The number is down for the current Congress, in part because Democrats have just thrown up their hands (and remember, this Congress isn’t over yet).
Poor teabagger.
The republicans are trying to save us from nobama and ried making us become like Greece....no thanks.

The fillibuster is part of the checks and balance system, jughead. Get rid of it and we know what will happen......one party rule. When the senate majority becomes republcian...you'll cry and cry for the fillibuster to return.

Hypocrites!

Those dems back then agreed with many of the republcian bills. The marxists in the senate can't handle them.....especially the THREE budgest passed in the house that Harry Ried sat on....that's a fillibuster, meathead.

The house passed a budget plan that would have resulted in millions of jobs but the dems in the Senate have refused to act on it. BTW, why are you more worried about this than about the total failure of the Obama "stimulus" that was supposed to create jobs but totally failed at a cost of $1trillion.

It has been over 900 days since the senate passed a budget bill. Try to keep up, clown.

Teabaggers tried to put through a massive corporate welfare, tax cut and deregulation bill, it had NOTHING to do with U.S. jobs.

Reaganomics doesn't create jobs.

If you ain't figured it out, America rejected Reaganomics.

Try to keep up.

Poor teabagger.

Did you ever check the number of viewers CNN has in comarison to Fox News? Fox has twice as many for most of their anchors, and O'Reilly has 3 times what Schultz, and Redow, or who ever she is. So I doubt all those people would keep watching if Fox didn't have the facts. An surely CNN could find people who can attract more viewers if they had any talent at all. So it is usless to try to tell people to look elsewhere for their news, when obviously they have the best channel already.

Monetary decisions are made in the House of Represntatives. If the Imperial President tries otherwise he should be Impeached. I think Boehner is just pissed off enough to introduce Articles of Impeachment. Thank you Mr Speaker.
So when the house passes spending bills for certain items, then complains when Obama actual does what it says, the house says he is spending too much, so we have to shut down the government. They did it, not Obama. If they insist on less spending, simply pass a budget which spends less.
As to impeachment, you are correct, it is a political decision, having no basis in law. Remember when the gop hated Clinton so they impeached him to hurt him politically, not because of any lawbreaking.

I fully agree with what Ronald Reagan said about
Social Security some 30 years ago, that Social
Security has absolutely nothing to do with the federal deficit.

It has its own funding separate from the debt
and is therefore off the table.

Obama won the election. Obama has a mandate to continue his spending. Congress is in the way. Obama must take control, by pass Congress and set his own spending limits. If he needs to "interpret" the US Constitution, so be it. It is the progressive way.

Winning an election does not make Obama a dictator. We have 3 branches of government, all equal. The people are the government. We sent Representatves, and Senators to Washington, and they vote the way we tell them to vote. If that is not what the Imperial President wants, so be it. He thinks he is King, but we don't have a King.

So enlighten me. Obama has no more power them Boehner, and Reid. He probably has less since even his Democrats are backing off on his big F'n deal, a weapons ban. Obama seems always to be a day late, and a dollar short.

You STILL don't get it. It appears you lack the capacity to EVER get it.

Go ahead, now -- and post more sanctimonious drivel insulting Obama. You are only confirming your lack of understanding of the issues for all to see.

Remember -- it is better to remain silent and be thought a Fool, than to post your drivel here and remove ALL doubt!

The voice of the people is the voice of humbug.(William Tecumseh Sherman)

Fox and facts are not compatable, but then niether are any of the other TV 'news'(pronounced 'misinformation') stations. If you believe their positions you are being had. Bernays wrote the playbook by which the political and media elite make willing slaves of people like you. Most Americans just jump on the bandwagon with no idea of were it will take them.

Actually Washington has learned the lesson of how to rule with an iron fist in a velvet glove.

Where do you get your news?
It is not necessarily a lie, but you must be skeptical about the account of what happened and how. For the most part they repeat what someone has told them. Breaking news, in particular, is known for getting the situation confused. Almost everytime I've dealt with the media they are unable to deal with data and convert it into objective information.
I look at as many news sources as possible, to see what is common and what is different. Information is seldom reliable, but you can often discern that something happened.

Your ignorance of what is actually happening far exceeds mine in the specific wording of the Constitution. Can the Executive branch, through executive order slow or stop businesses of their choice? Would the price of oil go up or down if the President created regulations, through the EPA, that prohibited all drilling on any federal lands? Can the President through a federal agency guarantee loans to companies like Solyndra? Would either of these actions create less taxes and therefore less federal revenue? Does this administration strictly follow the Constitution? You sir, are the true fool.

No arrogant ass, it is YOU who doesn't get it. You've been told by many that your asinine comments are delusional and meaningless. Nobody agrees with anything you say yet you continue popping off. Then again in addition to arrogant and deluded you are extremely dense.
