After yet one more landslide and one more huge message to the nation from voters and the EC that MOST people feel Obama is on the right path and is the right person, he even reaches out to the other side once again and he doesn't need to this time. He has nothing to lose but they do in two and four years.

He will reach out again and if they do not bend like he does then they will be tossed out of the House in 2 years providing the President two full years without worry of politics to simply pass everything through both Houses as needed without backtalk.

The Republican Party is history. Not because of Democrats wither. It destroyed itself allowing it to be hijacked by right wing Radio nuts, Faux station nuts and the baggers/birthers/bigots etc.

In four years; all logical people know we cannot send 40 million illegals back. No way to do that and only a way to slow illegals from coming in thus; these people will be granted citizenship in about four years or less actually and guess which party they will register for? Yep, the next election will be so tilted for Democrats and those after it, I doubt there will be another republican president so they now need to get a new name and brand.

Exactly what is accomplished with Romney and Obama meeting? Romney holds no political office or clout. And Obama would most certainly disregard any suggestions Romney would offer. This meeting makes no sense. Maybe it is just a congratulatory luncheon for a well fought campaign?

maybe Mitt can have some influence or do some good somewhere. He said he was interested in public service. After all, a bunch of people even thought he could run the country...

If the republicans have abandoned him already, that says more about their lack of values than the qualities of either man.

I don't think the GOP was ever really "behind" or supported him. Sure on camera and during the campaign they appeared too. But in reality? Seriously doubt it. He was their only candidate, they "supported" him grudgingly I am certain.

The White House will soon be holding the Winter Solstice celebration, This is the new state religion.
Costumes will be optional.

HyperInflation will not frighten the Washington DC elite, what they want is a managed decline like Greece. What will happen is Zimbabwe. It will be the big surprise.

For the other poster, much was solved but he might not realize what it was for the public. It was to show those moderate Republicans that he was reaching out. Neocons who hijacked the Republican Party and have now caused its total destruction will not get it or a win an any elections again.

The more right wing radio and more politics from Fox will always ensure the Republican Party of Reagan never rises again. They can use his name but he is spinning in his grave over Newt, Palin and others and would be furious with them, right wing radio and Fox!

In fact, if Reagan were President, he would have ensured the party not get hijacked by radicals, he would have held private meetings with right wing radio and Fox to tone it down because he would have known; they come off so crazy that mainstream American (THE MAJORITY) will do the opposite of what they feel is crazy talk.

If you do not believe me then go back and see how many Democrats and even some liberals voted for Reagan along with all Republicans. Ask how he did that and if right wing radio encourages that or not. Reagan had a way of uniting people while your right wing radio and Fox has divided to zero.

Reagan was right about one thing although he did not win a Cold War or much of anything else; he said a political parties would be extinct in the 21st century and a one party system would rule. He said it would be Republican but he was half right. Had it not been for the fake, failed contract with America and the hijacking of the Republican Party; the Republican Party would have won in being what will now be a one party system divided by liberal and moderate to conservative Democrats with Republicans voting and getting nowhere other than locally for the next few years until that ends too when Hillary has finished serving her first of two terms. She will be almost as old as Reagan was but a female with longer life expectancy. See news how she plans to run and has already started this month! She has a 70% approval rating from the public and in the Electoral College, more votes than Obama at this time and only the pop votes change drastically while the EC elects.
