NBC interviewed the Oh'bama and the president stated that he quit smoking 6 years ago but still smokes sometimes. Huh? Whut? Damn, he couldn't tell the truth about anything if his life depended on it. He laughed and said he was scared of Moo'chelle. That's why he sort of, kind of, sometimes, maybe quit 6 years ago. lol

Is it a slow news day for the lame stream media? Obama MAY have quit smoking...or not? All the scandals...F&F, IRS, NSA, EPA, FBI, DOJ, Benghazi, Libya, financing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the train wreck Obamacare, doubled our deficit in less than 5 years, Syria...and NBC thought our Nation would be a better place if they skipped over all those "phony" scandals and reported on the Oh'bama sneaking and smoking because he is scared of the wife?

And you kool-aid drinkin' fools known as ObaMORONS just eat that garbage up like there's no tomorrow.

If he had a son he would be a sneakin' smoker too unless the Moo'chelle drew a red line two or three times. lmao

House Bill Protects Americans from Obamacare, Avoids Government Shutdown

Today I voted for the House-passed Continuing Resolution that avoids a government shutdown, cuts federal spending, and DEFUNDS implementation of Obamacare. Now the fight to stop this law goes to the U.S. Senate where it rightfully belongs. The House has been leading the fight to protect hardworking Americans from Obamacare, and it is time for the Senate to give the American people the honest, transparent debate they deserve.

Democrat Senator Max Baucus said it best when he warned earlier this year that Obamacare implementation would be a “train wreck.” Now we’re seeing his prediction come to pass as disapproval for Obamacare reaches record highs, more than 250 companies report cutting jobs and hours as a result of Obamacare, and National Journal forecasts that “for the vast majority of Americans, premium prices will be higher.” That is why even members of President Obama’s own party joined Republicans today in a bipartisan vote to withhold funding for this disastrous law.

President Obama has already signed seven bills into law repealing or defunding provisions in Obamacare. I hope our colleagues in the Senate will do everything they can to make this bill number eight. Our Continuing Resolution deserves an open, transparent discussion so that the American people can see who is on their side in opposition to this law and who is not.

Every day that Obamacare stands is a day more jobs are lost, more money is wasted and more people are losing access to quality health care. I came to Congress to dismantle this costly law and I won’t rest until that goal is achieved.

Sincerely,

Diane Black
Member of Congress

US House of Rep.

Iran Parades 30 Missiles With Range of 2,000km
Sep. 22, 2013 - 10:28AM

TEHRAN — Iran paraded 30 missiles with a nominal range of 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles) Sunday, the first time it had displayed so many with the theoretical capacity to hit Israeli targets.

“We have the necessary equipment to destroy American aircraft carries and warplanes in the Gulf,” the ISNA news agency quoted Admiral Ali Fadavi as saying.

Common Core: A Lesson Plan for Raising Up Compliant, Non-Thinking Citizens

Those who founded America believed that an educated citizenry knowledgeable about their rights was the surest means of preserving freedom. If so, then the inverse should also hold true: that the surest way for a government to maintain its power and keep the citizenry in line is by rendering them ignorant of their rights and unable to think for themselves.

When viewed in light of the government's ongoing attempts to amass power at great cost to Americans--in terms of free speech rights, privacy, due process, etc.--the debate over Common Core State Standards, which would transform and nationalize school curriculum from kindergarten through 12th grade, becomes that much more critical.

Essentially, these standards, which were developed through a partnership between big government and corporations, in the absence of any real input from parents or educators with practical, hands-on classroom experience, and are being rolled out in 45 states and the District of Columbia, will create a generation of test-takers capable of little else, molded and shaped by the federal government and its corporate allies into what it considers to be ideal citizens.

This is fricken unbeleivable. As a retired military member I'm shocked that this type of behavior is acceptable. The off duty cop (thug) needs to be fired and if he tried that crap with me I'd put his butt on the floor in two seconds. I used to live in Maryland and it is very disturbing that this type of behaviour is tolerated. The school board, the off duty bully and the police department should be held accountable. This is not Nazi Germany. If the man has something to say at a public meeting then by god he will have his say. From this video I see clear assault charges on the wanna be peace officer and grounds for replacing the board. Try that crap in Nevada and see what happens.
When citizens are striped of there right to dissagree with a government policy it's time to change the government.

methisguy at 11:11 PM September 23, 2013
This was absurd!! Why invite the public to a "public meeting" then not allow them to be vocal but submit their ideas/suggestions in emails? What a crock. More concerning is the conduct of the officer (BULLY). Pulling and pushing Mr. Small then constantly getting in his face using school yard bullying tactics like the stare-down. You are a COWARD and a shame to the Baltimore County Police and officers everywhere!

Meandering around the aisles of the Dollar General the other day and happened onto the Halloween aisle filled with Halloween plastic junk and doodads. Picked up a few, "Made in China". Put it back, no sale there. Picked up a 7" plastic candy container with a lid. Turned it over, and it read "PackerWare", "Made in the USA."

I need a candy container like I need another hole in my head, but I bought it for the kids' candy. One dollar. Imagine that, one dollar?

I understand your lack of communications skills is what causes you to cut and paste all this various tripe from across the web.
Having poor writing skills, you hope others will speak for you.
If you truly wish to improve your skills then you must try using your own words. Trial and error are the best ways to learn.
Her comments are constructed like the ingredients on side of a cereal box. They're much too hard to read, not to mention that these links she inserts are ridden with tracking cookies and sometimes much worse. To put it plainly, they're just too damn hard to make sense out of or keep track of.

She also jumps from subject to subject like a bipolar cricket during a midnight full moon. If I wanted to read a newspaper, I'd pick one up or go read it online. At least a newspaper has sections where you can pick and choose what subject matter you want to reflect on. American Lady's remarks and insertions simply roll on and on with no rhyme nor reason.

I and obviously many others gave up on this thread last year thanks to the endless drivel she places. The articles she links can't possibly be followed nor discussed. You finally make sense of one and she's already gone off on a totally different subject matter with even more copy and past links.

It's solid truth that when someone can't debate nor construct anything in their own words, these links are the only obvious outlets they have to speak through.

What was once a very spirited debate in this forum, turned into "Headlines By the Minute, brought to you by American Lady".

And then she started changing socks even more frequently.

Many of us simply moved on out of boredom.

Now before you get your jollies for the day, AL, a registered users name caught my eye last night via the main roll down menu and I was finally able to P.M that person with a question I had for some time now. I was just too tired to construct what I had to say in regard to this forum last night. Thankfully I'm rested this morning and have finally stated my personal opinion.

This entire thread was hijacked and ruined by incessant and irrational copy and pastes a long time ago.

I'm quite sure what I've said will not bring a positive solution to the problem within this thread, so again I'll be moving along.
Just as everyone else has.

Yawn, when Obama and Holder enforce the laws we already have, we can worry about new ones. There are 68,000 applications for permits from past felons, which is a felony itself. As of this date, not one has been prosecuted by Holder.

Did one of those felons get a gun? Would prosecuting any of those kept anyone from getting a gun?
Our goal is to keep guns out of criminal hands, not to jam our courts with paperwork violations.
Here is a good explanation why a lot of gun laws are hard to enforce.

I agree, that we need better enforcement of current laws, but that doesnt mean we cant also strengthen the laws with expanded BG checks.
By the way, gun law enforcement was no better under Republican leadership.
