If someone is robbing you and ready to kill you, do you ask the villian to hold on while you call the police to see if it's okay to shoot the criminal?
.
Zimmerman went to check on which street he spotted Martin which is very legal to do. Martin on top of Zimmerman beating him isn't an indication Zimmerman went after him.
.
There is no reason for Zimmerman to change his story under a civil suit.
.
Keep in mind, if a civil suit occurs, Zimmerman can have brought forward every thing in Martin's life and Zimmerman's lawyer can paint Martin in a very bad light like he couldn't do in the criminal trial.
zimmermans light will be painted far worse than this kids...

Of course not if Trayvon Martin stood his ground he would rot in jail. Look civil law got OJ in jail even tough he got acquitted on the murder charge. So white makes right again?
How could Martin have stood his ground. No one was attacking him,so he could not do it.One has to be attacked to (stand ones ground).

you do not know that. Zimmerman, a proven physically violent man, followed him. why did he follow him? to talk about the weather?

Zimmerman was looking for a street sign so he could tell the police where the person was last seen walking.Zimmerman did not see Martin until he was suddenly attacked.

If Martin was not stoned, he could have understood the risk in attacking the neighborhood watch.

you should research your facts...
Exactly neither does Zimmerman gone to jail for the killing of Trayvon Martin the unarmed kid. The difference is the gloves didn't fit on OJ but on Zimmerman there is a smoking gun on there wasn't any witness however the smoking gun is evidence and the admission of mission of shooting by Zimmerman is hard evidence. Your sentiment for your fellow whitey are appalling.

Just a point of order. I think accepted term used for Zimmerman is near-white. Whitey is a racist term.

As the working class neighborhood I grew up in was changing, one of the murders done by a hoodie wearing jit was a pharmacist who was well known for decades. he would give out prescriptions to people on trust and even if affordability was an issue worrying about paying back at a later time. Anyway, character is an important human trait that he had more of in on week of his life then the president has shown in his whole life. No one mourned that pharmacist except those who knew him. there are so many more stories from all over America. You just don't hear about them because the real agenda is what we are experiencing now.

It is sad you failed to register the key witness that stated Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman and pounding him with both fist. Your black racial divide is so weak as is your whining because you can't get your ass out of be and get an education. Enjoy the landfill.

Funny pookie. Why do you clowns ignore the evidence that made six women weight the evidence and come to the only logical conclusion possible.

His girlfriend that was on the phone with him said he told her he was right at his dads apt. when she asked where he was at. So why didn't he go in and call 911 to report a 'creep gayasz cracka' following him around ? Why did he leave the safety of just outside his apt. to walk back out by the road except to hunt for the cracka and play a little 'whoopass' like his girlfriend said he did ? Turned out to be a really bad decision on his part, but it was his decision, not zimmermans.

<quoted text>he told the 911 dispatcher clearly that he was following martin. agianst the training they give neighborhood watch members and against eh advice of the trained law enforcement official. for a very good reason...untrained people like Zimmerman do not know how to handle such confrontations and they can often turn deadly. he caused this death with his inept actions and disregard for trained law enforcement officials advice.
again, the civil suit will discuss this at length...
There will not be a civil suit. Because the prosecution insisted on overreaching and charging Zimmerman the way he did, he got a not guilty verdict, because he got a not guilty verdict based on self defense he should have no problem obtaining obtaining civil immunity. Also unlike most civil actions it is looser pays, who ever brings the suit on behalf of Trayvon will have to pay Zimmermans legal fees.

not a good idea.
Don't say, it is not so backwards as you think. Just what do you think happens in inner city black areas. There were 61 shooting in Chicago during the Zimmerman trial. many of them black , many of them teenagers just like Trayvon. Subtract the ones done over drug truf and you have a lot of cases of "He disrespected me" . Kind of like dueling over an insult but with out the honor of fair play. So don't pretend we have advanced too far.
