FBI in public fight with Trump over releasing Russia memo

There are 3003 comments on the The Las Vegas Sun story from Feb 1, 2018, titled FBI in public fight with Trump over releasing Russia memo. In it, The Las Vegas Sun reports that:

In a remarkably public clash of wills with the White House, the FBI declared Wednesday it has "grave concerns" about the accuracy of a classified memo on the Russia election investigation that President Donald Trump wants released. The FBI's short and sharp statement, its first on the issue, laid bare a Trump administration conflict that had previously played out mostly behind closed doors in meetings between top Justice Department and White House officials.

Since when, in the past 9 years, has the political based leadership of the FBI and the Justice Department been concerned about 'material omissions' of fact?

Wonder what it is they don't want the American public to see?

If Trump can go around telling folks that anything is fake news, then the FBI certainly has the right to alert the public that Trump generated fake news in the guise of a memo.

There are a lot of higher ups that are involved in this corruption. That's why the push back is so hard. The big boys are protecting themselves. But that is exactly why this report needs to be released. Neither the American constitution nor the American people have given these 'law enforcement people' the right to cover up, change or twist information to enable themselves to live outside our laws. How many freaking Clintons are we going to tolerate? Release the report, NOW. Anything else is a cover up.

Only seriously unstable people think Trump's tax returns are important. Who cares? On the other hand, a corrupt justice dept. is intolerable

Clinton’s anything, who cares.

Repeated obstruction of justice by a desperate and reckless president?

Criminal.

I am glad to see you face the truth about Obama obstruction of the Clinton investigations.

Repeated obstruction of justice by a desperate and reckless failed presidential candidate, criminal, and as I have said, Hillary won’t be the only one going to prison.

The memo is nothing more than excerpts from FBI and DOJ documents, if there were any lies Andy McAbe wouldn’t have been canned.

Read his financial disclosure if you want to know anything, the financial disclosure is far more detailed than a tax return.

The more they squirm, weasel and obfuscate, the more they have to hide. Right now it looks like they have plenty to hide. Release the report and drain the swamp. If we allow these people to cover up their crimes, we're no different than Russia, Iran or North Korea.

House Intelligence Committee member Rep. Peter King says there was "one small part" of the memo that Chairman Devin Nunes changed: "In no way does it affect the substance of the memo" (link: http://snpy.tv/2DURBuI ) snpy.tv/2DURBuI

Trump's financial disclosure is as reliable as Nunes's doctored memo.

The entire purpose of Trump's disclosure is to hide behind his lies of being a billionaire. Review his STOU pick out the secession of lies to get an understanding of how he skirts truth and facts.

Yea. Why is Nunes delaying his Memo.

President Trump boasted incorrectly that his State of the Union address drew the highest number of viewers in history. He was off by a couple of million people.

ROFL

Reminiscent of the sparsely attended inauguration.

This clown is so predictable...

I've seen squirming in my time but this is an award winning squirm. There's a desperation about it that makes you think something very big is being concealed. Release the report and lets clean up the corruption before it's too late. Of the people, by the people, for the people.

No. It's not from FBI or DOJ documents.

FBI Director Christopher Wray publicly clashed with President Donald Trump on Wednesday over a controversial Republican intelligence memo, furthering the rift

Minutes after the FBI released this statement.

"We have GRAVE CONCERNS about material omissions of FACT that fundamentally impact the memo’s ACCURACY.”

Fox News Ran This Story on Air:

"FBI officials review memo and could not find any factual inaccuracies"

I dont agree with you on much but i agree on releasing Nunes's Memo.

Nunes was a member of the Trump transition team. It's interesting what he wrote and how is it even possible that Nunes is chairman of the committee investigating the questionable events.
