Who needs Fed Loans or Pell Grants to help American families afford college, just have those families "ask their parents".
Seriously, even repugs know that's a clueless statement coming from Romney. He think's every family has $20,0000 to give to their kids for Yale...like his Millionaire Dad did.
When we, as a Country, stop supporting higher education, we lose to countries who do.
Education is the key to the U.S. being the U.S.
Where is this money suppose to come from?

We're broke.

Get job, get two, get three. When you reach college age you are of adult age, you want to be treated like an adult. Act like one.

More than $1 trillion in student loans are outstanding in this country.

Pay your DEBTS.

You would know. Maybe take a walk on the wild side dumb nutts and read Plundy.

Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney’s running mate, agrees with Todd Akin that the popular definition of rape is far too broad and needs to be narrowed. And so do 222 other members of Congress, including 11 from Ohio.

And those members are:

Steve Austria, Steve Chabot, Bob Gibbs, Jim Jordan, Steve Latourette, Bob Latta, Jean Schmidt, Mike Turner, Pat Tiberi, Steve Stivers and Bill Johnson.

This is 100% in lockstep with official Republican party policy. The GOP believe that far too many women are having the other, non-legitimate type of rapes and taking advantage of it to get free, taxpayer-funded abortions.(damn, girls, they’re on to us!)

No you can't graduate from Harvard with a 'C' average.
And no, you can't become head of the Harvard Law Review, with bad grades.
And asking for college transcript from Pres (of 4 years) Obama, when repugs put their heads in the sand when Romney tells you he's got ammunition on his tax returns, so he won't show them like all other candidates do, makes them willfully blind Sheep.
BREAKING NEWS.......the recent Black Panther/Young Communist League Poll indicates Obama ahead of Romney by 24 points.

Paul Ryan is wonderuful. Imagine having a man as Vice President who actually believes our kids and grand kids deserve a decent future? Only cruel obamacrats want to see our kids reduced to nothing more than tax slaves buried uner extinction level debt and in the death grip of Big Brother.

RomneyRyan are husbands, fathers, and MEN who have earned america's respect and admiration. Great Days will return to the United States of America!!!

The smell of Leftist fear is strong tonight.
Breathe deeply, with the satisfaction of knowing Obama is a one-term wonder.
As in...wonder how the hell he was elected in the first place.

The Republican House has voted down 602 pieces of legislation. the most in the history of the United States. Yet corporations have record profits and the common American is suffering. You WILL get more of this with Romney. You want change. Get rid of the GOP controlled by big money and put ones in office who will work for us commoners.

It is possible that the financial aid system is not the best way for higher education in this country. The Ryan/Romney plan includes among other things basically shutting down Pell grants and other forms of financial aid. This is being proposed as a way to fiscal responsibility to create more jobs.

Meanwhile if that shut down of financial aid happens, you put hundreds of thousands of students on the job market instantly. You also for all intents and purposes shut down or shrink to next to nothing most of not all collages and universitys in this country. That puts hundreds of thousands more people out of work and turns thousands of college towns into ghost towns.

Meanwhile we are unwilling to shut down foreign aid which ships billions of dollars overseas as gifts to countrys that hate us. We burn billions on a stupid war that nobody wants and isnt accomplishing anything. Is it really the best idea to attack radio stations and higher education but preserve these idiotic uses of taxpayer money?

Forgetful:(1) USA Today, quoting a Pentagon official, reported in July that, during the last decade, the Pentagon had paid "late fees" totaling $610 million for not returning leased shipping containers by the due dates.(2) A Government Accountability Office report in July revealed that the federal government's vast properties include about 14,000 offices and buildings that are vacant (or nearly so), but which the government still pays to maintain (at about $190 million a year).(A large building in Washington, D.C.,'s Georgetown -- among the most valuable real estate in the city -- has sat mostly unused for more than 10 years.)(3) The Miami-Dade County, Fla., government confirmed in April that it had discovered, in storage, 298 brand-new vehicles that had been purchased in 2006-2007, but which had never been used.[USA Today, 7-11-2012][ABC News, 7-3-2012][El Nuevo Herald (Miami) via Autoblog.com , 4-20-2012]

My Gosh!
What happens to the country in 20 years without an education for our youth? Is it not in the interest of national security to have an educated population? It's just as important if not more so as defending our borders, shores, and freedom via our military. Wake up people!! Their are entities out there that want us destroyed. I can't afford a college education for my kid and she can't afford (or get) a decent student loan. Our taxes going to education our citizens is a win win win.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Leo

You need to vary your domestic routine slightly today to avoid feeling bored or restless, especially if the day threatens to be rather predictable. Think of ways to introduce a note of spontaneity into the proceedings, even if they're very minor, because they'll make you feel more lively and on the ball. If you're going shopping you'll be tempted by some impulse buys.
