Comrade...as in socialism...as in, let's share our national wealth amongst us so that the whole nation can benefit?

Sounds good. We can start with pooling tax dollars for national defense, schools and universities, hospitals, energy production, police and fire services, emergency medical care and agricultural subsidization.

Oh wait, we've been doing that for a long time. Yup, you can count on a Republicant to not know history and ignore reality.

socialism .. share the wealth ? how pie in the sky dreamy is that socialist dream? All socialist governments grab the wealth, divvy it up to the commie party elite (pols and business) and dribble a little to the proles. Commie russia before it folded like a wet deck of cards had the politburo living large and the citizenry standing 6 hours in line to buy a roll of freaking toilet paper. The US is now run by a grab the wealth commie, his pols all living large, his rich supporters living large as he grabs and borrows all the cash and builds his populace of govt money dependant proles for authorative rule. The EBT shutdown last week proves what building a dependancy state gives you.

In the debt deal, mooch mcconnell included a $1.2 billion earmark for a lock and dam project back the hills. So boner broke another promise by letting the earmark pass. He also flushed the the hastert rule. What the hell do these teahadists do again?

A conservative pressure group accused Mr. McConnell of inserting an earmark in the bill. Indeed, three years ago the dam was listed as an earmark Mr. McConnell requested.
The project, approved in a 1988 law for an initial cost of $775 million, is already tremendously over budget. The new bill raises the cost estimate to $2.9 billion.
The project and its cost have bedeviled Congress for some time, and the House and Senate each have different water resources projects bills that deal with the project differently — though both approved the project.

So, the Republicant caucus denied the U.S. Coast Guard their $600 million dollar cutter, used to rescue Americans, interdict illegal trafficking and keep our nation safe but Kentucky needed a $3 billion dollar pork project just before McConnell faces re-election? Thirty years on the taxpayer dole and he needs another shot at wasting billions…

McConnell came back to the table long enough to con the Democrats out of a 3 trillion dollar project for Kentucky, and that children is how the game is played. Nobody won, and America lost.

Tell us again how Republicants didn't cause the shutdown in order to eliminate wasteful spending.

We are still paying billions toward a war based upon a lie. Those Bush buddies are laughing all the way to the bank.

The GOP already lost a Senate seat yesterday.

2014 will cost them even more Congressional elections.
