Putin signals he backs tough response to U.S. rights law

President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday a U.S. law that punishes Russians who abuse human rights was poisoning ties with Washington but signaled support for a retaliatory ban on Americans adopting Russian children.

Why is our illustrious congress involved in Russia's business? We need
them as an ally and certainly not as an opponent.
And why is our illustrious congress not paying
attention to our myriad and sundry problems when
we are overloaded with them? Let them deal with our stuff first, before they tackle the Russians.
Congress has to take care of us, and that is why we hired them. They are failing the American people, again.
