Yes, you are right.

And some idiots, like ICR, pretends that Washington represent the interests of the "West", like if the West existed as a cohesive entity!

The West, is that Washington says it is.

NATO seems to be the only increased and threatening military presence throughout all of the disruption caused by the US/EU/Soros meddling in the internal affairs of non-NATO countries.

Really now... has anyone seen any Russian "invasion" yet? As the US decides to fund more internal strife in Ukraine, do we see Russia funding any strife? The Democrats in America do this crap every time their dominance in government is threatened. Clinton did it in the late 90s. You can set your clocks by it.

Yes just like Al Qaeda is what Washington says it is at any given time,at one time it can be the most terrible terrorist gang,at another time it can be a freedom loving Democratic organization.

I have seen an invasion of Russia since the first day Russian soldiers started taking over government buildings in Crimea.

Putin himself has finally admitted what the world knew from the start.

It isn't about grabbing land by Russia, but about preserving interest and maintaining security.

They will never get enough, Because Russians are a weak people at the core of their being and weak people need to compensate for their weakness and Russia does this by attacking smaller nations.

Until Russians as a people accept their weakness they will never stop trying to make up for it in thief, murder, and blackmail of other nations and people.

What you say is interesting and true.

Any person or nation that has a HUGE inferiority complex.......FEELS the desperate need to be a bully and thug against his neighbors so that he can enrich himself at the EXPENSE of his neighbor to satisfy and satiate his HUGE feeling of insecurity. This is WHY Russia ALWAYS walks around with a CHIP ON ITS SHOULDER against its neighbors.........even though you would think WITH NINE FRICKING TIME ZONES of territory, you would think Russia would feel secure about itself.

No wonder Russia attracted thugs like Stalin that treated neighboring nations of Russia with the thug like mentality of......"WHAT'S MINE IS MINE....and WHAT's yours IS ALSO MINE!!" That saying is an actual saying of Stalin that he used to impress the Russian people with.

It's pretty clear to anyone with a basic level of reasoning and logic that Russians are trying to make up for some shortfall that are deeply ingrained in their culture and people.

Shame really, imagine if they could find the inner peace they should have as people the wonder that they could accomplish.

Absolutely. It is not the Russian people as they are good people, it is the leaders that want statues built of them and pictures on walls, and books written about the land they conquered, the rest of Russia wants to develop Russia. If Putin put energy and finance behind the people to develop industries and develop trade he would never have had to worry about Crimea or Ukraine, they would be trading with Russia as well but it is not this way and Ukraine sees what Poland has gained and has a desire to HELP the people of Ukraine do the same thing and deemphasize military but they may have to now do both.

Russia has lived without Crimea for 50 years, and had a lease agreement with Ukraine regarding Sevastopol, the base for its Black Sea Fleet.

But as soon as the junta in Kiev started talking about joining NATO, that agreement was in jeopardy and Russia became under threat of having its Crimean installations occupied by the US Navy.

Russia reacted by securing its base and annexed Crimea.

The neo-Nazi in Kiev brought plague on their house!!!

Ah, so we go from no invasion to "they have to invade"

Here is the reality skipper, NATO owns the black sea, Russia's black sea fleet is a joke and can't go anywhere but the black sea without Turkish's good graces. The idea that Russia invaded Crimea to protect their black sea fleet assets and keep a presence in the black sea is absurd.

Russia wanted to steal land from their neighbor, plain and simple. It's just shocking how much secret hate that Russia has for their "brother" nation in Ukraine that they seek to destroy the Ukrainian people and tear their state apart for wanting a better future.

But again, you defend Russian actions of gaining more "security" from the "evil" NATO empire by stealing land from their "brothers" in Ukraine and move their borders closer to NATO.

Awesome logic.

Russia didn't invade Crimea; Russia was in Crimea!

Yes, I back Russia and blame evil NATO for stirring up a van of worms!

Half the Ukrainian people are Russian!

Russia had an lease to keep troops in their base.

Perhaps you don't know how that works but allow me to enlighten you, it means that their troops stay on their base, they are not allowed to move outside of the base without the host nation's approval and they are not allowed to take military actions against government and military buildings of the host nation.

That is called invasion.

NATO did cause anything, Putin and Russia cased this crisis and they should have to pay for it.

The population make up of Ukraine is irrelevant to the crimes committed by Russia, it doesn't give a single iota of justification for Russia's actions.

You know it doesn't which is why you are trying to find more excuses for Russia's actions.

People in Crimea are glad to have rejoined Russia.

That's all that matters !!!
