No you are wrong. Think about it. Trump is not a politician, he is a negotiator.. Trump will treat this new Senator just like he treats the West Virginia Democrat Senator. When you have senators that are not lifers, they are easier to negotiate with. It's the stinking lifers, both Demo and GOP who have ruined our country over the years. We need term limits and everyone would be humbled.

I could be wrong but I don't think so. He rarely says anything kind in his never ending tweets.

I agree 100%- term limits are a must! They get far to comfortable in their positions, so comfortable they ignore who they are really working for. Totally ignoring the needs and wants of the American people. Serving the people is a privilege and a job - never a career.

We can agree to disagree, but we do agree that term limits are a must if we want democracy to prevail. We have been misled by too many politicians over too many years and terms. The silent majority is getting restless watching the rich and famous (and politicians) getting richer and richer as the middle class sees their assets on hold or sinking. The poor once had a small chance, now they are cast aside with a monthly government check as the billionaires continue with the life they truly don't deserve.
"Merry Christmas" - one of the first steps in getting our country going forth in the right direction.

Liberals have no idea how government works, Jones will go along to get along. Once he gets a taste of "the good life" he will do anything to try to keep his cushy, very, very, well paying position. It's not a job, because they haven't gotten anything done for the people that pay taxes for 37 years.

Agree with your first paragraph.

You do realize there are many, many people who are not religious believers - therefore, they have no reason, nor a desire to say merry christmas. Unwise to attempt to force anyone to say something they have no desire to say.

I agree with most of what you write - now ask yourself just how many republicans do the exact same thing. And how many republicans have a clue what they are doing.

That is why you have to check what each are doing, and choose not to vote for them in the next election. Now you can check their Web sites to see what, or if they stand for what you stand for. Careful they aren't lying by checking their past records, or where they worked, and how they live. Do they have a Police Record? Etc,

Yes agree and understand that many people are not religious believers, but to have witnessed a previous president who represented all Americans to just cast Merry Christmas aside, bow to the leaders of the Saudia Arabian world, many times not wearing the US flag, knowingly that many, many Americans fought for this flag (died for this flag) all for the freedoms we enjoy, one has to admire a President who has brought back Merry Christmas to all. Wears the flag proudly, backs the many, many Americans who wear the blue (law enforcement). Everyone should be proud of what this President is doing. We have a leader who is bringing back what we so badly missed. And yes, if people don't want to say Merry Christmas, hopefully they will say Happy Holidays.

Agreed. Anyone who votes and doesn't do their research first gets exactly what they ask for.
The best way to get term limits is to not to vote for the same one again if they have not performed.

Poppycock. Yes, many, many have died for this country. The first thing that needs to be done is to honor & respect them - saying merry christmas does not accomplish either. We have vets that are homeless, going hungry, have mental issues, suffer physical pain - thinking saying merry christmas makes us a proud nation - think again. We can't & don't take care of our vets, the poor, the homeless, etc. etc. etc. We protect species of critters better than we take care of the honorable who have served , are serving & will serve.

If you believe saying merry christmas is going to make us a great nation - you are mistaken. It is not a starting point and shouldn't even be a point at all. Because frankly I don't think anyone cares that much about this minor issue, considering all the real important stuff that needs to be taken care of.

Poppycock - pure poppycock.

You then face a contrary problem of electing people with no experience on the job, who will often use their two-year run as a stepping stone to enhance their resume.

Lawrence - we need to look back but (24) years and ask just one question. What experience did Clinton, or Bush, or Obama have? But great speech teachers. We heard so many speeches that the news media would comment, great speech. All talk and NO ACTION. It does not take scholarly lawyers to step up to the plate as REAL LEADERS. What is sorely needed is for the voters to be educated in voting for the man / woman and not get too raped up with politics. As has been shown the past several weeks, we have crooked, sexist, and incompetent people getting elected to these very important seats in making decisions that affect us all for many years down the road. WE NEED TERM LIMITS Lawrence.

Off topic. Try again Stevo... Combination of your identified minorities will not get a write in candidate to win. Just do not vote for an incumbent and you will be much better off.
