You & I have already tangled on certain things cult, like the electroshock therapy sponsored by your cult's own Evergreen International. In case you don't remember, you repeatedly sat here and denied that it occurred, and I brought you multiple pieces of evidence that it indeed did occur and is probably still occurring, yet you chose to deny it and put your naive head in the sand. Here's yet another video about this that came up since our little discussion about that:

With your head so blissfully buried in the sand, I see no point arguing with you, especially about making decisions.
And I see you finally admitted to voting along with your cult's bloc and opting for Rmoney. So much for your facade of pretending to be an independent mind. I know - you're an independent mind that sides with your cult.
I know someone who in 2006 had his genitals shocked and epicac administered to him while those quacks showed him gay and straight porn.
Also, I recently met a young man whose boyfriend committed suicide after being forced to go to evergreen just a few months ago.

What's really sad is when greedy bastards who work for a company won't pitch in to help keep it afloat, and would rather force the company into closing down.
The Teamsters Union, for all their faults, understood the situation, and they worked with Hostess, coming up with a contract both sides could live with.
Why couldn't the Baker's Union do that?
Bottom line: The owners are the owners. The employees work for the owners entirely at the owner's discretion. If the employees don't like it, they can find another job. The employer owes them nothing but a paycheck for the work done. If a company cannot be profitable, then the owners have every right to shut it down.
Don't like it? Then become an owner, rather than an employee.
Unions have become a detriment to the U.S. economy. They outlived their usefulness as a force for good in worker's lives decades ago. Because of union thuggery, U.S. jobs are being lost.
What's really sad is when men like u have to compensate by bragging about their guns and monster trucks.
Bottom line: the owners don't give a crap about anything but their money and you're to wrapped up in teabaggery to even begin to understand...and too much of a jerk to care.

<quoted text>From what I've read on the hostess mess, an investment group not unlike Bain bought up the company, put in a CEO and top brass, gave themselves big promotions, and then started going after the union. They got concessions twice, and were unsuccessful this last time. Therefore they closed the company down.

Quite par for the course for the Bain types in my mind. Were I wrapped up in such a situation, I'd be looking for another job at a competitor around the time the first round of concessions came in.

But then again I don't work in a union job. So there.
That answered absolutely none of my questions. But thanks anyway...

Hey Cousin, no disrespect intended, are you inbred? Whenever I see your name, I picture you and your inbred family sitting at the corner booth at the Waffle House.
It is a combination of the name of a Steely Dan Album and another posters, posting name. Sorry if that is too complicated for you.

Hmmmm....what's really sad is that leftists such as you cannot even argue using the truth, you must lie.

I said nothing about guns or monster trucks. Oh, I own guns alright, but no monster trucks..they are impractical for my purposes. "No brag, just fact."

As for the owners of Hostess, it is their JOB to give a crap about money. As for me being a "jerk", oh well. Reality is what it is. Nothing I say or do will bring Hostess back to life, or give those folks their jobs back..they had that chance themselves and blew it.

So what exactly is your plan to "save" Hostess? You buying the company? You paying the union salaries? Your lip service is doing nothing for Hostess employees.

I wasn't glossing over anything. I have just addressed it so many times that it seems redundant to address it again. My views on homosexuality have been made clear. Time and time again. I don't have a problem with same sex relationships. I also have no hand in what other people do with their kids.
There are many people who are not Mormon who try to change their childrens sexuality as opposed to just simply loving them. I am not one of those people.
However, not being opposed to the same things some other members of the church are, does is no way shake my faith in the church. Which is my decision to make and does not affect you in the least.

Yes - if you close your eyes reaaallly tight, put your fingers in your ears, and bury your head in the sand, you'll only see what you want to see in your cult.

Doesn't change reality in terms of the truth at all, but it sure allows you to sleep well at night, doesn't it?

I treat people well, all people. Not just those of my faith or sexuality. I stood by my ex boyfriend as he admitted his homosexuality to the church and as he left the church. I loved him enough as a person not to care if he was gay, and he loved me enough not to care if I was Mormon. I serve Christ to the best of my ability, though trust me when I say I make more than my fair share of mistakes and bad decisions. I sleep just fine at night, with my eyes wide open. After all, I have no shame. Thanks for the concern though.
