Of course, the big thing with guns is: the coward gun gnutter ends up killing someone else first, usually a wife, and often the children in the family he got his CCW saying he was going to protect.

Police investigate murder-suicide at Tequesta assisted living center
Story by Miranda Grossman / CBS12 News
TEQUESTA, Fla.-- Police are investigating a murder-suicide at an assisted living center in Tequesta. Police said an elderly husband and his wife were found dead around 4 p.m. Friday.

It happened at the Sterling House Clare Bridge assisted living facility along the 200 block of Villages Boulevard.

The elderly woman lived at the Sterling House. Officials said a nurse went into one of the rooms to check on the welfare of the woman. The nurse discovered the bodies of the man and woman inside that room. Police said there was a gun inside.

<quoted text>Yea... sure, Kneepads, because assault weapons are used all the time to protect the home, and that's why people need to have those 100 round massacre magazines: you can never tell when you will be attacked by three bus loads of angry JW's.
they are pantywaists. They are used to protect homeowners. They sure aren't used much in crime.

there no such thing as an assault weapon. And a gun with a 30 round clip isn't a danger. If it was then more than 1% of murders would happen with one. But they aren't.
You don't care about everyone. If you did then you would support either outlawing cars or reducing speed limits to 5 mph. And you would also want to ban medication. For many many many more people die of these things each year than they do from a semi auto rifle.
Wow, by your logic a nuclear weapon isn't dangerous either because less than 1% of murder have happened with one......

Again, cars & medication actual have benefits, where as assault weapons & 30 round ammo clips DON'T have ANY benefits worth the risk.

And I plan on keeping it that way, and expanding the ban to include assault weapons & 30 round ammo clips.

yes there is a BIG difference. Over 100,000 people die every year from medication, over 750,000 from alcohol, and around 20,000 a year from cars. But your main concern is less than 100 a year from semi auto rifle's. Never mind that more than likely those 100 people would have been murdered some other way if there was no semi auto rifles.
And the benefits for HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS outweigh the risk.

There is NO SUCH BENEFIT FOR ANYONE with assault weapons and 30 round magazine clips.

There is NOTHING you can do with an assualt rifle than can't be done with an actual useful gun; therefore there is no reason they shouldn't be banned.

do you support outlawing alcohol? 750,000 people a year die from that. So less than 100 killed by semi auto rifles versus 750,000 by drink. See we take risks with everything.

Only when the benefits outweigh the risk.

There is NO benefit to owning an assualt rifle which can't be gained in some other way, so there is no reason not to ban them.

You do remember insisting Kentucky required a photo ID and me giving you the EXACT law over fifty times for a month and a half until you finally conceded it was the Kentucky law... but it didn't count in your part of Kentucky?

Clearly: you don't know anything about law, not in Kentucky, to be sure, and certainly you do not know the law in my state.

nice try but we aren't talking about nukes. That's over the top and illogical.

Guns also have benefits. And again you are willing to accept deaths by cars and medication. So you are willing to accept deaths for some things. Does that mean you don't care about those that die? Heartless

That is exactly right. A semi auto rifle is a semi auto rifle. And there is NOTHING any more dangerous about ot than any other weapon. Thanks for finally admitting that. It is no more dangerous.

Just what will the fool obammy do when his decrees aren't carried out by sheriffs and some states. Tell us what his recourse is Pantywaistes

Doubt any would be fired. By the way, Sheriffs, are elected officials and are generally recalled, or removed from office by their "appointee" if necessary and if the position was obtained by appointment between election cycles.

OK, so 8 guys break into my house, and they start shooting. I, as a law abiding citizen have to die because I only have seven rounds? No thanks.
