Rand Paul invokes bestiality while discussing gay marriage, walks it back

"It is difficult, because if we have no laws on this, people will take it to one extension further - does it have to be humans?" Paul said Wednesday in an interview with Glenn Beck, after Beck suggested some unintended consequences of the rulings, including polygamy. Full Story

If Rand wants to marry a sheep that's between him and his God, but I doubt the laws of Kentucky will enable him to do so.

As an argument against GAY marriage, of course, it's utterly stupid.

Polygamy??

Great!! I could use some help around the house.

With multiple incomes coming in, more families would be more successful.

Now if we can just get ONE man to marry his baby's mamma, that would be a great start to improving the stability of families.

Any of you wingnuts who want to marry your shotgun, make sure it is unloaded before you consummate your marriage. Or you might be in for a rude surprise.

ôSen. Paul did not suggest that striking down DOMA could lead to unusual marriage arrangements"

Gay marriage IS an unusual marriage arrangement.

I'll put in a call to Levi. I'm sure Bristol Palin would love to marry her baby's daddy, you know, because the Bible tells her so.

Gay marriage isn't unusual if you're gay and with the divorce rate among heteros at 55%, I don't think they are in a position to dole out advice or judgment of others.

If Rand Paul has any aspirations for the 2016 run, he needs to shut up and stop towing the party line because no liberal, independent, green party voter is going to vote for someone who says such stupid, uneducated things.

Funny how a senator from Kentucky would want to talk about bestiality when it is legal in his state.

HAHAHAAHAHAHHA!

So now you have TWO men fighting over the remote control and arguing about who's turn it is to take out the trash and twice as much laundry to pick up and you'll never see the top of the lid to the toilet again!

You all damn well know that polygamy and beastiality and pedophile agendas are coming. The destruction of traditional marriage is the warning. How long you fence walkers are going to be fools and mistake equality with common sense for a culture to survive will determine how severe the culling of a percentage of our population is going to be when the totalitarian tyranny blossoms into total control.

Two wives just means that you'd be paying double for diapers and designer shoes.

If you can find one wife who can bring in a 2nd income while helping out around the house, then you're lucky.

Yes, the conservative political action convention, here's a link:

You have to register early, the bestiality suites fill up fast. Rand Paul is showing up ... and bringing his entire delegation.

Nope....none of those things are going to happen. Just more fearmongering (although kinda after-the-fact) from the Rightie extremists, in your caset he fringe 'the world is ending!' club.

It's not 'common sense' to deny gay people marriage rights - it was never 'common sense' to make them into criminals for being what they were, in fact.

I'm far more worried about RELIGIOUS tyranny than political, and the former is what you seem to support.

I wouldn't have a problem with states legalizing gay marriage. That would actually solve other legal issues related to estate, child custody, and employment.

For example, with gay marriage now a legal option, states should no longer require companies to provide benefits to "domestic partners".
