obama could have reconciled and got what he wanted with a simple majority. Kind of like they did on healthcare.
And, you mean to tell me, with a 59-41 lead in the Senate, the dems could not throw a carrot out to get a single vote?? Cornhusker kickback ring a bell?
The fact is that obama and the libs are absolutely worthless leaders. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS. That's why the libs got the holy living shit kicked out of them in 2010 and it will happen again.
The Kickback was to a Democrat, no Republicans ever voted for any democrat proposal....... none....... that was their strategy agreed to by the Republicans at the secret meeting during the Obama inauguration.

Are you the only person in America that don't know about the obstruction plan arranged by the Republicans? ROFLMAO

Couldn't buy one single stinking republican vote?

Couldn't get one single democrat to vote for his budgets and could not buy one single republican?

OMG, you liberals amaze me. Is your stupidity genetic?

This budget thing is overblown, there's not been a Federal Budget passed in Congress since 1996, that was the Clinton Budget that provided 4 straight years of Budget Surpluses, and that was the Budget that Clinton had the use of Line Item Veto Power, since ruled Unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.

I don't think so of you actually keep up or study politics as you claim.......or know as much as you want to talk about here.

George Bush in 8 year didn't have a Budget approved..... where were you guys then?

Bush tax cuts created most of our debt along with the two unfunded wars. Republicans equal more and a larger debt for our children and grandchildren.

Then you should be smart enough to KNOW that those job loses are a DIRECT RESULT of the recession caused by BUSH!
Two trillion dollarwars. Tax cuts for the wealthy....should I go on?
How has Obama done on jobs?
3,765,000 gained since "trough" of recession.
How Has Obama done on private-sector jobs?
4,268,000 gained since the "trough" of the recession.
27 months of private-sector job growth.
20 months of over all job growth.
Is that bad?
Since Obama's policies have taken effect, there has been continual job GROWTH!
It has NOT STOPPED!
Is that bad to you?
<quoted text>...oh, I see you have fallen for false propaganda.
That's a shame...for yourself.
This is what happens when a MAN takes office:
Auto industry saved
Economy saved from collapse
Stock market and DOW at 5 year high!!!!
Oil production at 8 year high!!!
Jobless rate DOWN
Pulled troops from Iraq
Saved homes from foreclosure
...oh, and he got Bin Laden!
Should I go on?
Bush buried the economy, and Obama buried Bin Laden!

<quoted text>I don't read articles from websites that are biased, and known for false misleading stories, and has had to redact several of them.
Nice try though!
<quoted text>AGAIN, the same biased misleading website!
I mean, your first clue should have been the "Bill Ayers" crap that was debunked in 2008!
That's why you don't hear even ONE reputable Republican bring it up...ever.
You don't hurt the Rethuglican cause....you are actually hurting it, and embarrassing the entire party:)
<quoted text>Did you even read this link?
Look at the column it's listed under!?
It's listed in the "opinion" section.
...and a REPUBLICAN'S opinion on Obama is MOOT, and don't mean much!
"Kurtz" is a documented LIAR, and a biased republican!
This article was on Annenburg!
If you want to learn the REAL, and UNBIASED fact on Obama and Annenburg, then go to Politifact, it's a PULITZER PRIZE winning fact checking site!
It is not biased...that's why ot won the Pulitzer Prize:)
Politifact rates this Annenburg, Ayers, and Obama crap a "pants on fire lie"

"This attack is false, but it's more than that – it's malicious. It unfairly tars not just Obama, but all the other prominent, well-respected Chicagoans who also volunteered their time to the foundation. They came from all walks of life and all political backgrounds, and there's ample evidence their mission was nothing more than improving ailing public schools in Chicago. Yet in the heat of a political campaign they have been accused of financing radicalism. That's Pants on Fire wrong."

When Ryan was asked about his plan, he mumbled something about not having yet run the numbers.
In short, neither one has a clue.
A vote for Romney unless you are rich is a vote against your own best interests. he thinks 47 % don't pay taxs wrong it is about 18 % children, veterans people on ss ck it out.

Read about a decent set of solutions rather that the political crap you get from the media. If you will think you may well like this better that the jello you get from Romney and Obama.

So what is your take of this proposal?

I don't care for it. It would end up costing much more than you think it might save. While looking it up, I found this comment:

Increased economic interactions spurred on by tax expenditures can generate augmented revenues that more than offset the amount not confiscated by the government.

I also looked at how it might affect me. I would lose some, if not all of my mortgage deduction. I would have much more in taxes to pay because of the elimination of benefit for buying health insurance. For example, I costs for myself and my wife, about $2000 per month. The amount allotted per year is about $2400. That means starting in Feb, my taxes would go much higher.

While I would lose most everything I can use as a deduction, the rich would still enjoy all the tax breaks they need to eliminate all their taxes.

It is the wrong solution, solving the wrong problem. The problem in not how to take more money from those working, it is how to get the rich to pay a fair share. The problem is also how to reform taxation to make it fair and reduce the complexity, fraud, and special benefits to the idle rich.

This just looks like another scam to transfer more to the idle rich.

The repugs should hold all political offices in the nation. Let the party that f----d the country figure out how to do the unf-----g. My guess is that they will devalue the dollar within one year to reduce bush's credit card debt. Before that happens tho, there will be another republican "RAPE OF '08", and we will be engaged in another chinese communist financed bush, cheney, rice, rumsvelt, powell, wolfoshits, and politician war.Enjoy the new freakshow since the new potus was appointed by world money months ago. Your vote is asswipe.
