As a child we are taught to pledge our allegiance to the Stars and Bars. Your words,"No state should proffer a symbol that's offensive to any of its citizens". Being decent, explain why the Stars and Bars should fly when it too flew over slaves and slave ships. A bit hypocritical don't you think?
