Whose votes are as valid as anyone else's, and if you're unhappy about not getting their votes, stop promoting candidates that are bigots. Even though the press did very, very little with the story Romney's history with violent gay-bashing isn't something people ought to forget. But more important is his refusal in the present day to promote an agenda of equality and justice for blacks OR gays.

"ponytailed ex hippies,"

Hilarious bogeyman for the far right. Even 45 years after the summer of love, "hippies" send fear rippling through these clowns.

"welfare reciepients,"

Gee, wonder why victims of poverty would think of not voting for the economic policies of Mitt Romney.

"govt workers, union workers,"

Yes, working people opposed the despicable union busting and anti-worker agenda of the extremist right. You seem surprised.

liberal college professors,"

Another far right bogeyman. That educated people are against you should be a clue to you, but hate radio has conditioned the loons of the far right that being educated is a bad thing.

"greenies,"

Yes, people who don't want to see the planet destroyed in the name of greed.

"warmers,"

Meaning people who acknowledge the proven fact of global warming.

"huggers, enviro whackos,"

There's nothing "wacko" about wanting clean air and water for our kids.

"women driving soccer vans,"

Too hilarious.

"kids too young to know better,"

What's your excuse?

"kook koast libs,"

The destructive greed of wanting lower, lower, lower taxes on the wealthy few came from California, as did Ronnie Reagan. Kook Koast?

"ghetto dwellers,"

Most right wing extremists bury their racism a little better. Oh, they're racists, they just hide it better. You're not even trying.

"starbucks drinkers,"

Conservatives don't drink coffee??

"and acorn."

Meaning members of an organization dedicated to only two things--helping needy people, and getting more people involved in our American political system, which any decent person would support--and which was the victim of a racist lynching campaign of lies.

So far, you've not listed a single remotely good reason for anyone to have voted for Romney. Perhaps because none exists.

Not when they're taking a far GREATER majority of the wealth. No, they are paying nowhere close to their fair share. The claim they "pay the vast majority of the taxes" ignores that average working people in fact pay a HIGHER percentage of their income in taxes, and that taxes on the wealthiest Americans have never been lower, while poverty kills hundreds of thousands Americans every year.

The right says many things that are false and stupid, but this one takes the cake.

The idea that people support helping the needy to "pander" for votes is stunningly stupid.

"We don't care what's right or wrong, we're just going to buy votes so we can win."

"OK, great, whom should we target with this pandering?"

"How about poor people? They have no money to make contributions, which we can't win without, and are much less likely than wealthy people to vote."

"Brilliant!"

It's idiocy, of course. People supporting helping the needy because it is obviously the right thing to do. It's not "pandering." If you want to see pandering in action, one need only watch the "governor" of Wisconsin with the Koch Brothers pulling his strings.

There is no such thing as a human being who "contributes nothing." This is AMERICA, jackass, we are all EQUAL. Your snotty view of the victims of poverty as "contributing nothing" is the vilest falsehood imaginable.
And taxes on the wealthy are pathetically low, as they control massive amounts of our wealth, the idea they will "run out" is preposterous crap.
What is ruining this country is the greed of lowlifes like Mitt Romney, and fools like you who shill for them, thinking (hilariously) that you'll someday be obscenely rich and can grind human beings under your heel, too.

If we are all equal, please tell me what the poor contribute to America? You don't want them demeaned, but you cannot defend them having children they cannot afford, or depending on society for 3, and 4 generations.

there is no finite pie of wealth. if one person EARNS (not takes) more, that in no way means someone got less.

if you want more wealth, go out and create it. others did.

geez, you and Harvey/professor go to no end to point out your liberal pie in the sky attitude...yeah, there was only 1 group left that Romney could get to vote for him, the white taxpayers....all the rest were in the can for Obama, per my above notes. Its just a numbers game, the non taxpayers outnumbered and outvoted the taxpayers....the end is now calculable. you think the non taxpayers are suddenly gonna flip and vote for somebody other than a lib/dem who promises even more free shit?

How Childishly ignorant! 47-48% of taxpaying people voted for Romney.
The non-taxpayers all voted for Obama. Just who are these rich people who pay no taxes? Care to name names? And remember, They must pay no taxes whatsoever! No excise taxes! No real estate taxes, no sales taxes, no FICA taxes, No corporate taxes! Come on, we want names!
My president was elected by dead people!

How about GE? More than 25% of all corporations don't pay any taxes. Most oil companies get billions in subsidies, and pay much less than the subsidy. Thus they pay nothing. The government doesn't give me a few million to pay a hundred thousand in taxes, why pay them?

Another name? How about Romney. He got more in rebates than he ever considered paying in, so effectively no taxes. Why does he refuse to even bring his money back into the USA. It is obvious he hates this nation and was only running for president to see how much more he could steal.

As to the election, what does it matter who voted for whom. Diebold, ES&S and Sequoia decided who would be president. If they made a mistake the USSC would have simply voided the election and appointed the guy they wanted. They have done it before. No wonder Obama caves to every republican demand. More wars? you got it. Austerity to continue the bush depression and transfer more wealth to the rich? Obama is right there with you. Romney care, straight from the Heritage foundation? Obama is on board all the way, in fact, he even had the people pushing for single payer arrested. Pat Act to make sure the people of the USA have no freedoms? The GOP wrote it, passed it and bush signed it. Obama extended it. Love torturing people to death. bush was very open about breaking these laws. Obama is right on board. OK, maybe he isn't as open about it, but he refused to stop the torturing.

if you seriously think all of the 47% that do not pay FIT in the US are all democrats, you are not being honest with yourself.

and of course, all those 47% also paid taxes, just no FIT...

?? You think I should thank the wealthy for stealing my money? The vast majority of taxes????? Are you insane???? People who don't pay anything, by some magic you think is the vast majority?????

LOL, you can't make this stuff up.

The same services???? You would have to be completely crazy to think the rich only get the same in services as they give to everybody else. If I get the same in services, where are my billion dollar no bid contracts. I can build pretend buildings in Iraq better than Halliburton. When do I get to hire the lobbyists to write laws specific to my needs, instead of having my taxes go to give them bonuses?

They are not going anywhere as long as they get to steal everything here. Of course it won't be long till they have everything, then they will be gone.

It is hilarious that you think that those who pay nothing are paying too much. Too bad you won't see the position of the middle class.

yeah, the facts are clear...they do pay the vast majority.

how do the rich steal you money?

this should be good! should i make popcorn for this fiction?

you can hire all the lobbyists you want?

you can get into the grass roots level at no cost at all and pick the politicians that the wealthy write big checks to campaign with. who has the most influence there?

if you don't have more than media soundbytes to parrot, you are wasting my, and everyone else's time here...
