SicSemper, you are so correct! Did you watch the 2007 video of Obama praising Rev. Jeremiah Wright to a group of black ministers, suggesting that Katrina aid was delayed because of government racism? I particularly liked Obama's fake accent. If you haven't seen it:
http://dailycaller.com/2012/10/02/obama-speec...
Fake accent and Rev. Wright aside, what bothers me most about Obama's statements is that he can't see the difference between a terrorist act perpetrated against all of America, akin to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and an act of God (hurricane) that happens year after year in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana--all the gulf states.

From Obama's statements, it becomes apparent why he shouldn't be commander and chief of the military when it involves terrorism. Look at what happened in Libya under his command. He's too busy on the campaign trail to actually do his job as president.

Wonder why all these liberals are so hot to defend their guy? Guess he needs defending and can't stand on his record. We saw in the debate that he couldn't defend his own record. Of course the day after the debate he was full of teleprompter courage and more zingers and quips than you could shake a stick at. It's a lot easier to just lie about Romney when you don't have to face him.
How do you debate someone who has been running on tax cuts across the board 20%, and when they start the debate all of a sudden that is not his position? The challenge will be getting the facts out of what Romney is really for compared to what he is claiming during the debate.

You do realize that the Democrats were in charge the last 2 years of Bush's presidency, right? If congress is to blame for the last 4 years, then why is congress not to blame for the last 2 of Bush's presidency? You can't have it both ways.
We had more compromise in congress with Bush. Democrats are willing to do this.
GOP's agenda with Obama is we will do ANYTHING to make Obama a one term president. No compromise at all. The system is almost completely dead and that is why we have such a lackluster economic recovery.

We'd be in WW3 by now with a GOP commander in chief.

Sadly we will have to disagree on that one. I recall several meetings where Republicans provided other options to discuss and they were shut out by Obama and the Democrats. Unfortunately, I am working and don't have the time to look up specifics. The only thing we can agree on is that this vote is the most important one of our lifetimes.

The stock market has a complete disconnect between what is and what we see every day. If the DOW was any indication of whats going on in the economy it would be lucky to be above 8000. Wall street is a game played by insiders.
The stock market is not a complete disconnect. It is an accurate reflection of the values of the businesses whose shares are being bought and sold. The DOW is the most quoted indication of what is going on in the economy. While I would agree that insiders play the game best, that is because they have the most knowledge of the the economy and the values of these companies.

Can't wait for Romney to take office and get rid of the mortgage tax deduction. You peons with your mortgages are ridiculous. You don't need socialized help with buying a house! If you don't have the money, just ask your parents!

That's because your last assessment was before Bush destroyed our economy.
What makes our current recovery so remarkable is that the GOP in congress has done everything in their power to defeat any and all legislation favored by the president to help it.
Come now. Who was in office when the banks were told to provide loans to those "under represented" people who did not qualify before they lowered the standards? Clinton. How long did it take to finally be an issue? After he was long gone and Bush was left holding the bag. So many folks couldn't make their mortgages, they defaulted and the housing crash began.

Please stop blaming Bush for Barry's inabilities. It is pathetic after almost 4 years. Clinton reaped the rewards of Reagan's leadership, Bush was left with Clinton's mess, so deal with it. I feel sorry for us AND Romney to have to fix and live with the incompetent actions of Barry.

Sorry you aren't profiting from this great stock market.
Unemployment is dropping, housing starts are ramping up.
The only issue is from the 47% like you ! Romney got that right.
You are wrong. The stock market is crashing, unemploymet is the highest it has ever been, and no new homes are being built. Obama has the economy in runes!

I believe everyone who wanted to come was welcomed. You didn't have to have a special invitation. If "minorities" (however you define that) didn't show up, you need to ask them about it. Maybe some of them don't like Trace Adkins' music, don't like crowds, found it difficult to get there, or who knows?
I do believe that it was southern Democrats who fought the hardest against civil rights legislation, eg Al Gore, Sr., so you might want to get your facts straight before making broad statements about political parties.
Here is another maybe. Maybe the party does not appeal to a diversified America. You know, the other 47%.

Bush had ample time to change the 'standards'. At least you own up to the fact that it isn't Obama's mess.

Compromise? The Democrats? Yes, that must have been what Obama meant when he said this about the GOP,“They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

Right, like you said, Democrats willing to compromise.

The market is not crashing. The Dow is within 10% of the all time, pre-recession high. The unemployment rate announced today dropped to 7.8%. Still high, but most of that comes from continuing government layoffs of workers, teachers, etc., while the private sector continues to add jobs. Home sales and prices are up modestly on a national level, but there are regional high and low spots.

Things that are not true do not become facts because of the volume at which you shout them.

Here you are at work again, spending all your time on NBC29/Topix posting comments for your boy Obama. It's clear why you like him so much--your work ethics are the same--non-existent.

Do you think no one remembers that Barry's first two years enjoyed a Democrat majority in the House and Congress? He squandered it by focusing on Obamacare -- and STILL had to make dirty deals to push it through.

You are correct -- Republicans DO want Barry to be a one-term president.
