Even amid furloughs, some Texans cheer Cruz

Yet Huls has never been prouder that he voted for him. "Without Ted Cruz this doesn't happen," said Huls, a NASA systems engineer who was among roughly 3,000 federal employees furloughed from Houston's Johnson Space Center after tea party Republicans triggered the partial government shutdown.

Here's one Pa resident who supports him! Actually, A Government shutdown places us where we've always wanted to be, with government at a minimum. This is heaven as far as I'm concerned. We should make it permanent!
My president was elected by dead people!

I know they need their regular paychecks to pay their bills and to prepare and set up their eventual retirement but the just a nagging question, what vital contribution to the majority of people has the NASA organizations have brought out in actualization?

Isn't that one of the California cities that filed for bankruptcy?

Maybe if they had Ted Cruz 30 years ago they wouldn't have gotten into so much debt!!

Cindy Vinson and Tom Waschura are big believers in the Affordable Care Act. They vote independent and are proud to say they helped elect and re-elect President Barack Obama.

Yet, like many other Bay Area residents who pay for their own medical insurance, they were floored last week when they opened their bills: Their policies were being replaced with pricier plans that conform to all the requirements of the new health care law.

Vinson, of San Jose, will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy, while Waschura, of Portola Valley, will cough up almost $10,000 more for insurance for his family of four.

"Welcome to the club," said Robert Laszewksi, a prominent health care consultant and president of Health Policy and Strategy Associates in Virginia.

Tax avoidance

Shrinking tax base

This abomination will do to the Democrats what Volstead did to the Republicans.

Say goodbye, middle class.

Yes...we want government at a minimum...well, except for abortion. Hell, every women who gets pregnant should lose her Constitutional rights! A judge should appoint a white male as her power of attorney.

Oh, I almost forgot...them gays also need watching. what with all them marriages and unions we know that sodomizing is going to overtake the nation! We need cameras in the bedrooms of anyone we suspect of being a sodomite.

Other than that, we need smaller government!

Oh no! Are they being forced to keep those pricier plans?

Stooge.

What part of 'they aren't forced to buy that policy' is unclear to you? No one is forcing them, stooge.

You're full of crap, turd.

They can simply eat the tax penalty each year, then apply for coverage when and if they get sick.

Which is why this f-cked up law is going to flop.

Turd.

Look, I realize that your education is limited so I'll dumb this down for you. No one is forcing them to stay with that company. They can look elsewhere. I can't believe I have to be that remedial with you.

It was so easy to make you look stupid. Like those that whined when FDR introduced the Social Security Act, claiming it would fail, you are wrong.

Still, it is funny to see you get so upset. You were wrong. You should be used to it by now.

Go get your hood from the cleaners.

Hey stupid.

They don't have to take Obama's overpriced policy, and now they don't have to keep their current policy either.

They can eat a small penalty and then apply for Obamacare - IF they ever need healthcare.

That means a LOT more people will simply eat a small penalty and ditch any policy they have if they are currently healthy.

Hate to wreck your Tinker Toy reality, but FDR's vaunted NRA got tossed in the crapper.

Social Security isn't MANDATORY. If you want to avoid SS taxes, simply don't work and live off welfare.

Obamacare is MANDATORY for the unemployed, and it is going to blow up in the faces of the Democrats.

You moron.

No kidding. Thanks for agreeing with what I stated several posts ago!

Again, thanks for agreeing with me.

No, intelligent people won't do that because they will value their credit rating. When they get hurt or sick, they are still culpable for the costs. Taxpayers will foot the bill for true emergencies, as they always have for the uninsured.
Hate to wreck your Tinker Toy reality, but FDR's vaunted NRA got tossed in the crapper.
Is that revisionist thinking? You see, the SSA of 1935 is still alive and kicking. Republicants like to fabricate things.
Social Security isn't MANDATORY.
I never stated that it was. You are 0-5, now.
If you want to avoid SS taxes, simply don't work and live off welfare.
Or...you can move, like what Republicants told those who supported the Dixie Chicks when they dared to speak out against President George W. Bush. Remember that? Why don't you follow that advice? If you don't like our leader, move. LOL!
Obamacare is MANDATORY for the unemployed, and it is going to blow up in the faces of the Democrats.
You moron.
No, it is not mandatory for the unemployed, fucktard. You are delusional from all of that Fox Fool Aid. Here are the facts:

If you are unemployed and have no access to private insurance plan, either through your former employer or a spouse, you can qualify for Medicaid OR subsidized healthcare coverage.

Try, please just try to learn how to read. The PPACA has a facts page and that bit of information is on it.

Now, I suggest you buy some Pamprin or Midol. you are really moody and it is most unbecoming.
