It was dangerous for him to lead that assault and put himself in harms way. From the way he talks about it you'd think he did exactly that.
Come to find out now he had to ponder over whether or not to even go after him, them he thought about bringing him back here for *cough* trial.
Obama lack of leadership is astounding.

Well, since when has the President of the USA been expected to be Nick Fury agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. anyhow?

Fact is, he got done what those before him somehow couldn't manage... since the subject came up.

No, Obama is not still ahead in the polls. As a matter of fact he has fallen behind.
True, it seems Obama is on a "downhill slide", according to one headline I just noticed on another Topix.com Forum.

I don't see any polls where Obama is ahead.
If fact I don't think he's ever been ahead, I think it's all the media's BS.
I saw an article that said that if the media would have challenged Obama on the things he was doing and been more critical of his ideas he would have been better prepared to debate Romney.

He's not ahead, but I don't put much stock in polls one way or the other.
I don't think Obama has ever really been ahead.

This has been a close race from the start, and still too close to call, at least sensibly.

Romney's way ahead now, even in all the swing states.

That isn't surprising... I haven't seen such a poor Democrat performance on a Presidential debate since Michael Dukakis... eerily reminds me of the 1980 Carter vs. Reagan bout, in more ways than one.

Just calling it as I see it, being a fan of neither Obama or Romney here.

Good point... I think the Democrats themselves were just too arrogant and overconfident, and they forgot the mantra of twenty years ago coined by their own James Carville:

"It's the Economy, Stupid."

Obama is not falling apart. You saw the real Obama, and will see him 2 more times. He is stupid. That is why we cannot see his college transcripts. That is why he travels with a fully loaded teleprompter, and why he won't be elected to a 2nd term. Now we know what he will do as Presidnet. Not much of anything.

He definitely struggles when he doesn't have the teleprompter, that doesn't make him a bad President though. The bad economic 4 years do though, he just doesn't seem to be doing anything about it.

That's because he doesn't have one except for increasing the numbers of those in poverty in the USA.
Everyone, every demographic group is doing worse than they were 4 years ago.
Obama has had more than enough time to get things moving on the economy but now he wants to start this late in the game....I don't think so.
Great Article, I agree that Obama lacks a game plan or has not been able to express one very well.
Too little done over the last four years on the immediate problems facing the USA, that will cost him the election.

Hahahaha...why people wouldn't see how dumb our president really is...only one thing he is good for, is to read teleprompter. Without, he is lost.
It is embarrassing being president for 4 yrs he don't know what to answer in conversation. His college records it is not only his grades, he paid $4 million dollars to hide something worse than grades. Without his liberal media, he has no one to wipe his sorry behind. People got what they asked for, 4 yrs ago, hope and change ...and now,
forward - with his hope and change...just 4 more!

Who do you want to nominate Supreme Court Justices? Create jobs? Fix the economy? Certainly not the man, and his minions who have nearly destroyed this country. If you have children you owe it to them to try something new. We have seen what Obama, and company has done to this great country. Now we must give the new President, and vice President a chance to return America to hier greatness.

Obama's second debate performance will be as bad or worse than his first. The problem is, Obama was trying as hard as he could on the first debate, and he fell flat. Now he's got the Libyan debacle to defend, which is indefensible. I wouldn't be surprised to see him cancel the third debate. By the time November 6 comes, California and New York will be in play. He is in BIG trouble, and there's nothing that his Chicago thugs are going to do about. Think about it... How pathetic does your campaign have to be to rely on Joe Biden to pick up the slack.
