Banning firearms would NOT break the "cycle of violence". Proof??? Then UK. Since their gun ban went into effect, their violent crime rate has gone up FOURFOLD!
You are a liar.

But we knew that.

How many people have been killed in the UK since the gun ban went in effect, BTW?

"The United Kingdom has one of the lowest rates of gun homicides in the world with 0.07 recorded intentional homicides committed with a firearm per 100,000 inhabitants in 2009 compared to the United States' 3.0 (over 40 times higher)"

Trigger violence?

Do you think they don't have violent movies and games in England?

What would be the big difference? In England you get really angry and go down to the corner and kick over the recycle bin?

O-o-o-o-o-o-ouuu!

What "violent" episode triggered this kid?

What do you suppose he would have done if his father wasn't a gun gnutter?

The only "good news" here is: at least the violence was confined to the family that had the freaken guns instead of being turned on the neighbors.

PS: if this kid knew how to drive, he said he was going to go to WalMarty with the AR-15 and go out in a 'blaze of glory'.

I did not say anything about their homicide rate, you f-ing idiot. I said their violent crime rate. Another stat of note is the fact that their crimes committed WITH FIREARMS has doubled in the same amount of time. Cops which did not carry firearms before are having to carry them now in the worst parts of the country.

You alsop need to look at the spike in knife crimes during that same time frame, moron.

I guess you think you are clever...

Anyway, if someone here spends all his time demanding others prove what he or she says, I'd say turnabout is fair play, wouldn't you honey?

Do notice how he runs away from the question.

Ah! But you know, being a 'lifetime member' of the NRA doesn't end when you die, that is why the NRA manages to keep their membership numbers up so high.

Imagine, if you area a Mormon, that means a million years.

You say that and yet support mental health background and evaluation checks? The President believes it and so do I. We are a culture of violence and the cause is multiple. Root out what we can now while the iron is hot.

you obviously are not a world soccer fan. and don't diss the women's groups that warn women about the increase in domestic violence during football season and especially on SuperBowl day.

Illegal, eh?
While the .30-30 is legal for hunting moose in Newfoundland, Canada, game authorities do not recommend its use.[10]

Gosh: let's think about the more obvious connection between domestic violence- specifically, women being shot dead by their husbands- and football.

Let's see... there's potato chips, plasma screen TVs, pretzels, football game itself, six hours of pregame... nachos... alcohol... and guns.

Pick two.

Right...

Someone opines that "Britain" is worse than is the USA... even though- using those pesky facts...- the USA's firearm HOMICIDE rate is forty times higher.

Not twice as high... not three, not five, not ten not twent...40 times higher.

love the way you ask for cites. you are the "smartest man in the world". you have your own hidden list of approved cites. you ask for a cite or proof. you either ignore them or say that they were just one cite's opinion. ignore that because you have the cites. i really do think you have played too much football.
