Romney, GOP downplay positive jobs report

For most of his presidency, the unemployment rate hung like a millstone around President Obama's neck.

But today's jobs figures, showing that unemployment last month fell below 8 percent for the first time in 43 months, marked a symbolic breakthrough. Nevertheless, the Republican Party today stressed that a 7.8 percent unemployment rate is hardly something to brag about.

Yes with the Republican Senator Mitch McConnell admitting their number one Priority was to make Obama a one term President it clearly shows they prefer politics over country.
Like most Americans, Sen. McConnell is tire of this tax money spewing loser who has had failed jobs and energy programs costing the tax payers 90 billion with nothing in return.

One term is enough the country can afford.

Romney is right to criticize the Obama regime deceitful and artificial reduction of unemployment rate below 8% by removing 873,000 jobs from the market and adding 114,000 jobs. Only in America under the socialistic regime of Obama and his forty Maoist czars Obama can use fake phony fraudulent liberal media of George Soros and the NY Times and AP to twist the truth about the economy before the elections. Are the American people that saw the incompetent of Obama in the debate and his cluelessness about what should be done to save the US economy understand the scam of the Obama regime while more than 25 million Americans suffer pain of unemployment and part jobs. Only Romney who proved his brilliant experience as successful businessman will save America from crooked style regime of lies under the foreign agenda pusher Obama and will bring America back to its American freedom and small business success based on profit rather than losses that were inflicted by Obama on the private sector.

I LAUGH at the loons who think because fewer jobs were created this month, that's a decline.
Job creation means MORE JOBS WERE CREATED, PERIOD.
No, a loon is someone who thinks unemployment rates go down if there is over 300 thousand new jobless claims and less than 150 thousand new jobs.

Book cookin' and spinning. That's about it from the whitehouse.
Just as Shrub & Clinton & Bush & Reagan had little to do with private sector job creation either.

The person in the oval office gets the credit or blame for the unemployment rate.

That's just the way it works.

Bullshyte, you lack of economics knowledge is typical for a lefty! LMAO

Uner Reaganomics, the number of jobs increased by 16 million and federal revenue increased 15 percent.

Clinton did not change the tax policy and allowed the Reaganomics to continue. He also implemented free trade agreements which, at first, allowed more foreign investment. But with no encouragement for American businesses to stay, some have expanded to foreign markets and some have left completely. Add this to current accumulation of bad credit and very bad spending policies the economic situation is not very good. During Clintons first four years, the boom continued started by Reagans free market. Clinton then......signed free trade with China. Clinton based his "projected surplus" on the dot.com industry that was going well. Then, we had China and other nations stealing software, compuer designs, etc with Europe gaining in software also.

Result........the dot.com bubble burst and the US being the lead industry fizzled, the money didn't come in as planned.

THAT is why California cities are filing for bankruptcy, they had based their future pensions for city employees on it. With most getting 90%!! Can't pay it!!

How did the left blame?? Bush.......who actually didn't cause.

Nobama has extended the Bush tax cuts twice with has held the recession from getting worse.

Who do you give credit........nobama!! You don't know who the hell did what!! LMAO
