Romney, GOP downplay positive jobs report

Full story: www.cbsnews.com

For most of his presidency, the unemployment rate hung like a millstone around President Obama's neck.

But today's jobs figures, showing that unemployment last month fell below 8 percent for the first time in 43 months, marked a symbolic breakthrough. Nevertheless, the Republican Party today stressed that a 7.8 percent unemployment rate is hardly something to brag about.

Romney is right to criticize the Obama regime deceitful and artificial reduction of unemployment rate below 8% by removing 873,000 jobs from the market and adding 114,000 jobs. Only in America under the socialistic regime of Obama and his forty Maoist czars Obama can use fake phony fraudulent liberal media of George Soros and the NY Times and AP to twist the truth about the economy before the elections. Are the American people that saw the incompetent of Obama in the debate and his cluelessness about what should be done to save the US economy understand the scam of the Obama regime while more than 25 million Americans suffer pain of unemployment and part jobs. Only Romney who proved his brilliant experience as successful businessman will save America from crooked style regime of lies under the foreign agenda pusher Obama and will bring America back to its American freedom and small business success based on profit rather than losses that were inflicted by Obama on the private sector.

7 Election: 7-Eleven Coffee Poll Goes Overwhelmingly For Obama

The Huffington Post | By Alice Hines Posted: 10/03/2012 4:10 pm EDT Updated: 10/03/2012 4:57 pm

Mitt Romney should take a big gulp -- 7-Eleven shoppers have already decided on President Obama.

According to 7-Eleven's "7-Election" poll, which allows coffee drinkers to pick a blue cup for Obama or a red one for Romney, Obama is leading with 60 percent of "votes." Romney currently has 40 percent.

President Obama has held the lead since the first day the poll opened on September 6, said Margaret Chabris, a 7-Eleven spokeswoman. That day, Obama received 57.2 percent of cups, compared to Romney's 42.8 percent.

Though the poll calls itself "unabashedly unscientific," it has never been wrong in its three-election history. Six million cups were cast for candidates in each of the past polls, according to a press release.(In contrast, the sample size for a typical Gallup poll is 1,000 adults.)

7-Eleven, the world's largest retailer by number of stores, has managed to expand successfully to 16 countries by cleverly harvesting sales data in real time and adjusting each store's assortment to local tastes. The same technology allows the chain to track purchases of red and blue cups and report the data to its website the same day.

In the Philippines, where 7-Eleven has roughly 750 stores, the company also polled shoppers with soda cups printed with pictures of the country's nine presidential candidates in 2010. The poll correctly predicted that Benigno Aquino III would win the election. Originally founded in Dallas, 7-Eleven is now based in Japan, where its official name is Seven & I Holdings.

Of course, the poll is also good marketing for 7-Eleven. In 2004, hot beverage sales grew by 6.5 percent per store per day during the second U.S. "7-Election," Jim Keyes, 7-Eleven's then-president and CEO said in a call with analysts.

I totally agree with you, but didn't Bishop Rmoney tell some lies and why did he call his sons liars on national TV? I thought that was a bit weird as a campaign strategy.

The red states is where the private sector job growth is increasing by leaps and bounds. Nobummer and biden are trying to claim they have something to do with it. Pathetic.

It'll be clear soon!!

Anyone who thinks that the real unemployment number is 7.8 percent is a gullible fool...Axelcod called the people who put out these reports and said that our boy got pimp slapped in the debate and I need that unemployment number below 8 percent or he's going to get slaughtered in the election....There is no way they could lowered the unemployment numbers by creating the same amount of jobs they did this month as last....It's impossible.....If there were the same amount of people in the work force today as there were when Hussein took office the number would be at nearly 11 percent.....

Here's another sucker with SOUR GRAPES.

You should spit too. Get that taste out of your mouth.

And try hard to come up with an excuse for next month's numbers,(Just before the election.)

WARNING: You won't like the taste.

(NOTE: Mitt is not chaanging the numbers, his SOUR GRAPES response is even WEAKER than yours, if you can believe it:
