Residents plan to protest 'racist' signs on Beal Parkway

Some residents plan to show their opposition later this month to a series of signs posted on private property along Beal Parkway.

Glad to see people standing together to voice their first amendment rights. Whether race or economic duress, American's have always found strength in blinding together to show their resolve and fight for our natural rights. Not as one race, sex, or regilious affiliation, but as one identity, united for the cause of liberty, united for a brighter future. I have not seen the sign. While your comment seems to make little arguement, as you have clearly gotten that I favor the government assuming the responsiblity of Dad and forcing the private land owner to remove the sign, I will respect your opinion. I am a strong supporter of the first admendment. Whether it is the land owner deciding to post a sign on his property, which I assume he pays taxes for, or it's the citizens deciding to protest against it, both have natural rights, both should be peaceful, and I think we both could agree that government officials should steer clear of this debate. And if previous comments sound "foolish" I would love for you to state where in our constitution does it favor either side. Both sides are entilted certain unalienable rights that the government was created to protect, not infringe on either sides personal liberties to express their personal opinions.

@Damion I agree with you on being a supporter of the 1st ammendment but that last statement that you made that quote "The government was created to protect, not infringe on either sides personal liberties to express their personal opinions". Well that hunny is not what our goverment does anymore which is exactly the reason our country is the way it is now "Up The Creek Without A Paddle"! Rather you believe it or not your right along with every other red blooded american rights are being infringed upon on a daily basis, and most people are too stupid to even realize it!
