Cat - yes it is time, but as usual the boychild has his target to blame, this time it's Europe and of course Bush, Bush who has been out of office for almost 4 years, who, at the worst handed over a 7% unemployment rate. So, once again, it's not OBAMA'S fault, nooooo, it's someone else, some other strawman argument so easily trotted out by this guy who takes no responsibility for anything. That must explain his propensity to voting "Present". No stand, no blame. It's pitiful to see a grown man so lacking in backbone that he constantly and consistantly seeks and finds someone else to blame for his problems.

Funny, since Obama officially declared the recession over in June of 2009. So, just how is everything that has happened since the recession was officially over, someone else's fault? Hasn't Obama been in office since Jan. 2009? Didn't he have complete control of the house and senate for two whole years? And, I can see the T-shirt now, "All we got was a lousy healthcare plan?".

Thank you for confirming you are just a right-wing liberal whiner mooching off of the government and whining about it at the same time.

I see why you want more people working----so they can pay for your social security.

Both sides are liberal. I've accepted that since the Bush administration. The question is...do you want a President who spends here at home on the American people and who has the political courage to raise taxes to pay down the debt....

...or a President who spend on foreign people and cuts revenue to reward the 1% who hoard the wealth instead of spending here at home on their own people?

I'll choose the more fiscally responsible of the two liberals.

Of course the GOP could alway push Ron Paul to the top....but he's too much of a true conservative. He wouldn't give the GOP blank checks like Bush did or like Rich Money would do.

Fact is...the liberal gravy train ALREADY happened. NOW is the time to pay it down instead of passing it onto our children. President Obama will raise taxes to pay it down. Rich Money will cut revenue to further increase it. Both sides spend like drunken sailors regardless.

Jerk, perhaps my husband has a job that pays well enough that I do not need to work and could stay home and raise the kids rather than farm them out to some institution, thought about that? Moocher? LOL - right, again, sorry Charlie, WE are the 1% PAYING FOR ALL THE STUFF YOUALL SEEM TO THINK YOU ARE OWED. Nope, all I complain about is the way the taxes I/we gladly pay are wasted. Punkin' I have no need of the itty bitty bit of SS that I am owed, nope, try again with your class envy. GREEN is definitely NOT your color. BUT - you do show your level of intelligence, that came through loud and clear. ROTFLOL

The president cannot create jobs, but the Congress can.

Once again it's the filthy, economy-destroying Republicans who are behind this bad news.

We all drive. We all use gasoline. And every time we pump a gallon of gasoline into our tank we pay federal taxes on it. Billions of dollars flow into the Treasury in the form of gasoline taxes which, by law, are to be spent on the nation's highways to repair them or upgrade them or build new.

The filthy, traitorous Republicans in the House of Representatives
will not allow those billions of dollars to be released to take care of road infrastructure. They are once again sabotaging the economy.

My solution? Charge them with treason, convict them and take them all out and shoot the bastards and put an end tho their treasonous anti-Americanism..

Great! Well thank you for confirming that thanks to President Obama he stopped the loss of jobs. You're welcome.....

Good to hear your husband is still employed and has a job. If not for this administration's focus on the economy and reversing the effects left by the Bush adminstration you and your husband would be out of work.

Rex Nutting of MarketWatch, which is owned by the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch, shows that growth in federal spending under President Obama has been considerably lower than under Bush. In fact, the growth in federal spending under Obama and Clinton has been far lower than it was under every Republican president since Reagan.

Almost everyone believes that Obama has presided over a massive increase in federal spending, an “inferno” of spending that threatens our jobs, our businesses and our children’s future. Even Democrats seem to think it’s true.
But it didn’t happen. Although there was a big stimulus bill under Obama, federal spending is rising at the slowest pace since Dwight Eisenhower brought the Korean War to an end in the 1950s.

Even hapless Herbert Hoover managed to increase spending more than Obama has.

Here are the facts, according to the official government statistics:

• In the 2009 fiscal year — the last of George W. Bush’s presidency — federal spending rose by 17.9% from $2.98 trillion to $3.52 trillion. Check the official numbers at the Office of Management and Budget.

• In fiscal 2010 — the first budget under Obama — spending fell 1.8% to $3.46 trillion.

• In fiscal 2011, spending rose 4.3% to $3.60 trillion.

• In fiscal 2012, spending is set to rise 0.7% to $3.63 trillion, according to the Congressional Budget Office’s estimate of the budget that was agreed to last August.

• Finally in fiscal 2013 — the final budget of Obama’s term — spending is scheduled to fall 1.3% to $3.58 trillion. Read the CBO’s latest budget outlook.

Over Obama’s four budget years, federal spending is on track to rise from $3.52 trillion to $3.58 trillion, an annualized increase of just 0.4%.

Yes, he's responsible because:

1) Obama VOTED for the Bush Budgets as a US Senator

2) Obama was a Democrat Senator while his party held BOTH houses of Congress.

3) Obama is the President and is supposed to be "Responsible"

4) If Obama cannot take responsibility, he should RESIGN

5) Obama's Budget Deficits have been Consecutive Record Highs EVERY YEAR the Jerk has been in Office.

Why are progressives so Flowking Irresponsible and Stupid?
