This is not news in China.

The knife killings have been going on a long time around China's schools since they do not have access to guns.

As I said before - the guns do not kill people - it is the people that kill people.

Feeling a bit defensive I see… trying to get in a preemptive strike on an off-topic issue before anyone can point out the fact that had it been a gun there would have been a death toll, more wounded with more severe trauma to the victims. But hey, the only way to stop a bad guy (child) with a knife is good guys (child) with a knifes… arm all the kids.
Moreover, had this been an all Black school in the inner-city your off-topic comment wouldn’t have been about guns, it would have been about race.

I’m just happy that we have a President in the White House who the American people can be comforted by when things like this happen… just like at Fort Hood today when the President and First Lady comforted the families of those killed in the work place violence that happened last week.

The NRA would be proud of you except that the majority of massacres (yes not this one) are carried out with guns.

Thankfully guns were not involved in this one because the carnage would have been worse with a gun - or two - or three..

coulda, woulda, shoulda. Facts are facts. "this could have been much worse with a chemical bomb... or two." Point being, you cant regulate and destroy rights because there are psychos out there. What is the one thing that all massacres and mass murders have in common, people.

What we could do is better our access to mental health facilities and the perception that if you seek mental help you are weak. Outlawing everything in sight isnt going to hurt anyone but the law abiding citizens.

It should be noted that there is no "National Cutlery Association" shamelessly advocating arming people with more knives or going "second amendment" with them in schools and other public places. Unlike NRA spokesman Wayne LaPierre, dental model Chef Tony is a lovable TV huckster who slices tomatoes paper thin with knives he's used to saw bricks. He does't advocate making shivs available by mail order.

another photo op for mooslim lovin obammy, just like at Fort Hood.

Alot of crazies out there walking around and the bigger fools are those who think more laws will stop it, just more socialist progressive propaganda to control by the government the population at large. What may control the crazies is if more people were armed and if and when they see something like this or anyother violent crime taking place, step up to the plate and blow them away. Dealing out capital punishment to the criminals and crazies by the law abiding public is the only way to go in todays world.

Had this been an all black school in an inner city it would never have made the news.

And that means what? Ban all guns? Then what? Ban all knives? Then what? ban all sharp sticks? Then what?

Again, the point you ignored, what do ALL of these (not just "common") have in relation? Disturbed or sick people. People are the problem. Not the tool.

I am not defensive I am stating a fact.

Your president is so wonderful he wants to cut the troops down to what they were before WWII. Ask the troops how they feel about him. The first place he cuts is the troops and their finances. They have to honor his position but they do not have to kiss his azz.

What!!! No call from Government for knife control!! As for Fort Hood the Government was supposed to do something about that years ago. Again, it was a crazy person with access to a gun when the law abiding were refused access. Our Government is so incompetent.

I agree.

Too bad most others here don't even think of those hurt, or even mention them.

Dear the tool can be extra efficient, easy to use, easy to obtain, cheap and the tool of choice when folks want to take down as many folks as possible. That is the difference, boy, between the guns as a tool and other tools.

You may have appoint.
Columbine.
Sandy Hook.
Etc.
How often do we hear about massacres in an inner city black school?
Perhaps we should be glad that the white are killing their own.

Of course, this presumes that white children deserve to die.
Is that what you are suggesting?

Or, perhaps, whites are naturally more violent, pre-disposed to homicide.
Is that what you are suggesting?

Or, perhaps, it's not newsworthy when a massacre occurs in an inner city black school.
Is that what you are suggesting?
Why?

During the Zimmerman trial there were 54 people shot dead in Chicago. Did you hear about that? No.

1/1/2003 ~ 12/31/2012, Chicago: 4797 deaths, 75% were committed by blacks.

Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan 10/7/2001 ~ Present: 2316 American deaths.

Our men and women are safer in Afghanistan than they are in Chicago.
