<quoted text> Ironically the assassination of Kennedy brought in Johnson and the overwhelming sympathy that voted in all of these laws and expanded them without sensible restrictions as people get around them. Kennedy's murdering younger brother who lived the complete opposite he forced others to do added to it.
Kohnson was awful and Ted was scum. Thanks for reminding me.

if we didn't have guns, how would we fight back when people declare war on us?
any human being with any intelligence would know that guns are needed in this world.

Remarkable how you can get that much malarky into such a short post. There's no such thing as a "Nazi Socialist." The Nazis were not remotely close to Socialist.
And Obama is not remotely close to being a Nazi OR a Socialist.
The National Socialists Party weren't socialists? Are you really that brainwashed?

Dearie,I think the NRA/gun business has a pretty good handle on the issue of exploitation with their paranoia, their propaganda and their riling you folks up to want a gun.
Families who have lost their loved ones through GUNS, GUNS, GUNS, AND GUNS are speaking up for those who have been silenced by those GUNS, GUNS, GUNS, GUNS.
Every human being with any intelligence would do the same.
Apart from the NRA/gun business and you gun gnutters.
"Dearie"? Are you 80 years old?

It looks like the Democrats in the Senate have passed the first hurdle on gun control. There doesn't seem to have an automatic weapons ban, or background checks on private gun sales. It will be interesting to see what the House does with it. You can go on line later, and see who voted for it. The NRA will put their money on their opposition next year.

even if congress were to vote in gun control, do you think the people will adhere to the law?

after watching our government NOT enforce all these laws with immigration, and the fact that gun sales are higher then ever, I truly doubt it.

like the liberals say... "we don't enforce bad laws, we fix them."

to the people. and I'm not talking just the conservatives. gun control is a BAD law.

and like the drug addicts say.. we don't adhere to bad laws. quote, "man, we need our marijuana. and I don't care if you don't like it. I'm going to smoke it whether you like it or not."
