Any one else find it more than a little ironic that the Dems are going after his religion.... I mean makes sense with the president who wants to ignore the constitution... so why not ignore the freedom of religion aspect that is at the heart of the Constitution... right
Also it is funny how the ol saying "the more things change..." is true here. Back in 1960, there was a big outrage by the right on Kennedy because he as Catholic. The right put out statements that if he was elected we would be ruled by the Vatican.... The Dems took offense at this, and rightly so.... forward 52 years... now the Dems are taking shots at a mans faith......
Hey, you're preaching to the wrong choir. I am not Republican, therefore I don't give a damn what religion your candidate is. Your problem is not with Democrats, idiot, your problem is with those within your own party. It would seem that those who like to throw darts at the president trying to say he was a Muslim, have a similar problem now, lol. It's karma. It's unfortunate for you that your trying to use Kennedy, a Catholic (which is still Christian, btw, aka Santorum?) is/was more acceptable to southern Republicans and the fringe, religious right than a "man made" apostate faith of a few hundred years vs thousands of years?

Houston, you've got a problem! LOL!

No thanks, I'll stay liberal and hardly jealous! lol.
Do you think GOP elitists like Ann Romney are ready to support Welfare Moms who stay home to care for their kids?

. Ann Romney got the support of her super-rich husband
. To care for their kids, Poor American women seek support from Uncle Sam
. Are GOP crooks discriminating against the poor who chooses to be Stay At home Mom?

It's interesting to see that GOP crooks finally understand the contribution of our Trailer-park-dwelling, Welfare-Queen moms to America.

. From now on, I hope GOP operatives will forever quit making disparaging comments about American Moms who choose to be on Welfare so they can take care of their children

Religion should not be a factor in an election of an American president. Kennedy faced prejudices with his Catholicism, Obama faced the Muslim tag, now Romney and his wife are being castigated for being Mormons. I would not be interested in hearing anything ugly about Mormonism, it is a moot point. I support Romney because he is the most moderate of the candidates, and he has had no little success as a businessman and politician, he is a a foreign policy hawk, always has been, and I agree (for the most part) with his fiscal ideology. I am not voting for his wife. Funny thing is, I like her better than I like him, but I don't need to like him, I just need to think he would be an effective leader and enforcer of this nation's federal laws and interests, which Obama has not been. I want him to keep his off the other branches of power, which Obama has not done. I don't love politicians, I expect them to work for me and I don't care what their wives have or haven't done or how much money they have.

You people are soooo stupid. YOu cannot keep your feet out of your moms. So now, you're going to attack welfare mothers in lieu of a trillionaire's wife? Inherent racisim? Go right ahead and see where that gets you, dumb azzes.

<quoted text>Non-freaking issue. You all have been very careful not to mention that it was Romney, himself, that brought this issue to light. He asked his wife for advice on problems facing American women and specifically, working American women. She doesn't work, hasn't worked, so she can't answer that question, can she? Whether ill or not, hers is not the norm in the experiences of the majority of American women whether they work or not and there's no getting around that fact. Furthermore most women who are ill do not have the type of help she's had either. It's not an attack on her, but simple truths and if you all can stand the heat, given the bruisings that you've given President Obama and his family, too freaking bad.

No it is the issue... either family IS or it IS NOT off limits...
The fact that he asked his wife is irrelevant. Couples bounce ideas off each other all the time. One does not have to have experience to have an opinion do they. Most people have an opinion on abortion... yet only a few have had one... Most people have an opinion on cheating on your spouse ... yet small percentage of them have done it..... He asked her opinion... and stated it.....

"Furthermore most women who are ill do not have the type of help she's had either. It's not an attack on her, but simple truths and if you all can stand the heat, given the bruisings that you've given President Obama and his family, too freaking bad."

First so what if most women who are "ill" do not have ... They could afford it... so what? Oh that's right... lefty rule #6 wealth is bad.. unless it is wealthy hollywood directors donating to your campaign funds all the while terrorizing innocent elderly couple by tweeting their address as someone else....

Secondly
"given the brusing you've..."
the president is not off limits.
" should I be the nominee, I think can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record.".... The big O on GMA 2008.
Now where has the big O's family been attacked when they have not brought themselves into the lime light?.....

I hadn't thought of it that way. I was just finding it hard to understand why Sunobia would want to look so extreme and how she could not see how bad it makes her ideology looks to reasonable people.

If you are correct, then that is even sadder than I thought.

I guess I have given her enough platform for her hate speech to make it clear that reason has nothing to do with her feelings.

have a good day.

Now, let's be real, here. Personal attacks are obviously your territory. That is what unhappy people do.
I don't use judge-it's. I think there should just be comments. When they started doing thumbs up and down on the 9news site it became a thumb war. Dumb. I am sorry that people don't like what you have to say. Some don't like what I have to say, either. So what?
It's all about party for you, isn't it? You say that all Repiblicans are dishonest, racist, homophobic, pro-life, and hate working mothers. That is just silly. There are dishonest people in both parties, that is evident and trying to deny it would make you look even sillier. There are racists in both parties, and that is also undeniable. I am pro gay marriage, and many of my peers are, too, or they don't care either way. I think Republicans would be well off dropping that platform. Most gays are very good taxpaying hard working citizens, and when they want children it is because they really want them. I do not like abortion, but I believe they should be legal, but not after 12 weeks unless medically necessary. Another thing I would like to see Repiblicans ease up on, because it is a no win situation. I am a working mother. Part time now, but sometimes I think that means everybody wants me full time.
Your blanket judgment of me and everyone who doesn't share your extreme nature does not make you seem more credible. I know, you don't care, but it is true.
Please don't lie, it makes every post you make there after, less credible. You started by personally attacking me. That is what most Republicans do on these forums. They attack people who disagree with them with racial slurs, personal slurs and other nasty comments.

You can make whatever personal judgements against me that you like and it still won't change one iota of what I've posted. I speak my mind and if you or others disagree, that's your right. That's what a forum is for, although most are too immature to accept that. Don't tell me that I've made any blanket judgements about anything when all you've done since you started posting on this thread is make blanket judgements against me, ok?
