All kidding aside, I just meant that we seem to have these scandals in every administration the past couple of decades. All I was saying is that the inquiries go on too long, and all the facts rarely come out. And someone below the true seat of power. who makes an error, or does something wrong, is made to fall on the sword, so to speak. This time it's Petraeus. We've had Scooter Libby, Denise Rich, and Ollie North in the past. I wasn't implying it as a Dem/Rep issue. Just more of a typical Washington disfunction issue.

Sorry, Wood. I'm too cynical about all D.C. politics to believe that. We've been lied to by everyone in Washington for so long, my trust in them is non-existent. We'll agree to disagree. And thanks for the Bob Smythe answer. The laugh was appreciated.

And if you think this administration is beyond reproach because it is Democrat, you are singularly naive, and have learned nothing from history! Evidence??? Yeah, sure. Maybe when the next administation takes over. Save your tin hat crap for the birther loons and the 9/11 truther clowns. I'm pretty sure someone said early on that Watergate was just a third rate burglary and had nothing to do with anything. And look at the shitshow that was. I know I'm not going to change your mind. I'm just not as quick to buy into the crap this administation, and the 4 previous ones, tries to peddle us.

So, why did Patraeus parrot obama's bullshit story about a silly movie on Sept. 14th When we all know he knew better?
THAT, is the question.
Another question is,'"Were they torturing prisoners in the compound with Obama's blessing?"
There seems to be evidence of that and that would be very embarrassing right before the election.
If so, did Obama co-erce Patreaus to keep it quiet and blame a silly movie for the attack?
Or was Patreaus co-erced by Obama to blame it on a silly movie because he didn't want a full blown terrorist attack blowing up in his face right before the election?
I think we are getting close.
The cover-up is starting to be uncovered.

IMHO i think the military has this big rule about extramarital affairs. i suppose the shame isnt in doing it but being caught lol.

Patreaus first said that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. Three days later he changed it to a movie and a mob? Who asked him to lie? I think we all know the answer to that and why he is not now testifying in the Benghazi investigation.
This will come out today later. The death of Stevens was a hit that was allowed to happen by the US Government by not sending in protections and telling those on the ground to stand down. There is gun running involved, Iran is involved and Vallerie Jarrett is involved. The Godfather couldn't have done it better.

True, Jarrett knows more about Benghazi than Petraeus. It was she that met with Iran when they wanted their two nuclear specialist back. Steven's death was a hit.

White House insists it was unaware of Petraeus scandal until day after election wink wink. Is there anything Obama knows. He denies knowing anything about Fast and Furious, Libya, Syria and Petraeus........he claims he knows nothing. I believe him. The leader that never leads.

Is Petraeus having an affair with a woman any less scandaless than the FIRST chief of the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, who "enjoyed the company of males"??

If 'dipping his wick' where it does not belong causes a man to quit his job, then J. Edgar Hoover should have NEVER been Director of the FBI for 37 years.

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/edgar-hoover-sex...

All this righteous indignation over a man having an affair, when MANY elected officials have done or are doing women who aren't their wives and still keep their jobs.

So far, Benghazi has caused an Admiral to be removed, and now we have a total of 4 four star generals that are being demoted or resigning. Seems there is a lot of attrition at the top for something no one seems to know anything about. There is not a rug big enough to sweep all of the dirt of Benghazi under the rug. This appears to be a hit according to CIA sources.

yet in the real world, none of those leaving were due to anything related to Benghazi.
