Yup, another doofus right winger checking in with hatred and prejudice so ingrained they can't see the difference between Nixon covering up a crime that he and his administration initiated in order to do wrong and Benghazi. No wonder fox is losing audience, stupidity is not a productive evolutionary trait. Ta ta.<quoted text>Nixon was forced to resign because of the coverup of a third rate burglary in which no one died. Yet libs like the Bay area loon have no problem with the lies and evasions of this Administration in a coverup of the circumstances surrounding an attack that killed 4 Americans, including our ambassador to Libya. Very hypocritical to say the least.

Dummy... When the Republicans are relevant in any way and start calling stand-down orders while Americans are being killed then telling lies about it all... I'll be the FIRST to criticize them.
But it's the democrats telling the military to stand down while Americans are being killed and lying about it NOW.
I UNDERSTAND that Bush's administration was bad, but talking about Rumsfeld & Cheney's lunacy isn't relevant TODAY. Obama & Clinton's is relevant TODAY.
Grow up. Then WAKE UP!
#118921 May 12, 2013
Your shallow thinking is why the Republican party is coming unhinged. You are the type they target. Someone so un-educated, so dense that you can't do anything but repeat the foxnews line that Bush and Cheney are irrelevant to today's mess in the mid-east. That you can't or refuse to see the hypocrisy in such statements. That you don't or can't see how the Republican majority in the House spends ALL it's time trying to decimate and destroy our American government by any means at hand.
Your ignorance of the Accountability Review Board's report is only compounded by you and your party's despicable escalation of attacks and suspicion of every person who doesn't agree with you.
In the real world two views of an incident would not be grounds to accuse the other party of lying. The Republican's and you by inference are going batshlt, accusing EVERYBODY of lying, now even including the CIA and our military leadership. Your desperation is becoming visibly psychotic and, if you and your traitorous "leaders" continue to attack our (the majority of the American people's) government for the obviously political damage you hope to inflict, you wreck all chances of fixing the problems we need to fix merely for the benefit of a pure power grab by a Republican leadership that doesn't know any other way to get power.
And don't even have any suspicion of a party that declares that sees government as the enemy unless their running it.
You and them care nothing about the people of this country only yourself and the destruction of Barack Obama. That's it, that's all you brown shirt thugs post on this forum.
So now, Mr Objective, go back and remind us all how Bush lying to get us into war in Iraq, killing hundreds of thousands of people isn't relevant.
Remind us again, please, how Bush ignoring warnings of an impending Al Qaeda attack in our country causing 3,000 deaths isn't relevant.
Remind us again how Al Qaeda had no presence in Iraq before the 2003 U.S. invasion. But a new organization, known as Al Qaeda in Iraq, has since formed and has attacked U.S. and Iraqi forces, and wages regular attacks on Iraqi civilians. Additionally, by 2013, AQI has spread offshoots and technical know-how to Syria, Jordan, and Libya. And that this isn't relevant.
Remind us again how Iraq became a "front" in the war on terrorism, a front that George Bush created and that that isn't relevant.
Remind us again how George Bush and the Republican Party said they weren't interested in catching and killing the leader of Al Qaeda that isn't relevant.
You are a mindless twit just like all the rest of the right wing storm troopers. Dedicating your energies to destroying Barack Obama instead of leading the way to solutions to our many challenges.
Every issue you've brought to this forum is a foxnews talking point attack on Barack Obama. Every one. Minion.

Whine and deflect, little Alinskyite, whine.
The facts remain on the public record in sworn testimony before Congress.
And as for your favorite mindless reactionary "FOX!! spew? Long past its discrd-by date. Why lookee here:
"For a long time, it seemed like the idea of a coverup was just a Republican obsession. But now there is something to it."
Oh, lookee there. Oh, dear. Oh, my. Not Fox at all, is it. Nothing you could remotely label as 'reichwing' at all, in fact.
THE NEW YORKER MAGAZINE. Paragon of eastern progressive intellectual thought.
Yes, there is something to it. There always was. So suck on that.
As usual, nothing of reason or substance in your partisan spew requiring any further response.

These is room for debate on this wholly separate and reprehensible aspect of the Obama administration's rank incompetence, irresponsibility, and epic failure in Benghazi.
This first and most obvious question being why WEREN'T these forces on the highest state of readiness to deploy on the anniversary on 9/11 in the face of the intel and actual threat exposures they had in front of them?
But we'll get around to that in due course now as well, once the more serious issue of lying to Congress and the People in a political cover-up is adequately addressed and sanctions imposed on those truly responsible for this treason and corruption.
#118925 May 13, 2013
Stay on topic, joe.
Americans DIED. Obama went to HIDE. His politically corrupt mob LIED.
"We got OBL!! Mission Accomplished!"
#118926 May 13, 2013
Bush lied about the WMD's in Iraq. Obama lied about Benghazi.
I don't think lies about either are acceptable. You think Bush's lies are bad and Obama's lies are acceptable....and I'm the shallow thinker. Duly noted. We're done here.
#118927 May 13, 2013
The reality is the world is a messy place and only right wing geriatrics like you would be unable to realize that. The hypocrisy coming from you guys is phenomenal. I've tried to point out the errors of your hive thinking but I'm beginning to think you're just to far gone.
The glee in your writing is so self-incriminating I'd have thought you'd want to have toned it down a bit, just to appear more rational.
Just another bankrupt Republican fishing for something to attack Obama with. It wouldn't even be so bad if your whipped little party could do something else at the same time.
#118928 May 13, 2013
Whoa, not so fast there, Mr. Objective. You really are a piece of cake. You kinda left out some things didn't you?
I mean beside the part about Bush lying to get us into a war killing hundreds of thousands of people.
No comment from you on how Bush ignored the warnings of an impending Al Qaeda attack in our country causing 3,000 deaths?
Or how Al Qaeda had no presence in Iraq before the 2003 U.S. invasion and has spread offshoots and technical know-how to Syria, Jordan, and LIBYA.
And no comment from you on how George Bush and the Republican Party said they weren't interested in catching and killing the leader of Al Qaeda?
And I guess you're fine with the US consulate in Pakistan bombing, killing ten people?
And the 2004 attack on the US embassy in Uzbekistan, killing people.
And in 2008, the US embassy in Yemen bombing, another ten people killed.
Over 60 embassy attacks under Bush. And your okay with that? How many investigations did you call for then?
And your disgusting answer::"Bush lied about the WMD's in Iraq. Obama lied about Benghazi."
Yeah, those would be equivalent in the mind of a right wing hack like you.
and yeah, you are a shallow thinker. Duly noted. We are done here.

Bush and His Aides Made 935 False Statements about Iraq In the 2 Years After 9/11
In 2008, two non partisan groups released a study that determined that President Bush and his top aides made 935 false statements about the security risk posed by Iraq in the two years following September 11, 2001.
Former Bush White House press secretary Scott McClellan wrote, top Bush aides had outlined a strategy for carefully orchestrating the coming campaign to aggressively sell the war In the permanent campaign era, it was all about manipulating sources of public opinion to the presidents advantage.(What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washingtons Culture of Deception)
President George W. Bush and seven of his administrations top officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, made at least 935 false statements in the two years following September 11, 2001, about the national security threat posed by Saddam Husseins Iraq
Just a little reminder.

So I can't comment on current events without first addressing EVERYTHING else that's happened in US history? I don't have that kind of time, joe. Maybe you do, but I don't.
Keep cheerleading an administration that thinks so little of you that it constantly tells preposterous lies to you. Good day.
#118932 May 13, 2013
Yep, just as we continue to see, another right wing tard who's more than happy to attack the "current" administration but doesn't have time to discuss anything that undermines their hypocritical mindset.
Oh, and by the way, I'll repeat the fact that only you azwipes keep seeing me as supporting the Obama administration when I've ONLY been criticizing the Republicans (and the wing-nut tea party, of course).

ITS NO SURPRISE that Senate Republicans grouse about Obama administration policies on enforcing civil rights laws or limiting greenhouse-gas emissions. They are entitled to their policy views.
Its a different matter for Republican leaders to manifest their views by blocking confirmation to Cabinet positions of the officials in charge of those policies. By doing so, on absurdly flimsy pretexts, Republicans not only impede the presidents nominations for labor secretary and chief of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), but also undermine the normal flow of government, upon which presidents of both parties have depended. They help to subvert whatever is left of Americans faith in government. And they may give frustrated Democrats an excuse to rewrite Senate rules in a way that both parties will have cause to regret.

Contrary to popular belief, President Obama doesn't have a magic wand
GOP opposition to everything Obama supports is the most important story of the last four years of American politics
When Congress is controlled by the other party, you have greater opportunity for obstructionism (see: Congress 2011-present). Of course when that opposition party is the modern GOP, then you have the opportunity for historic, mindless, wanton and heartless obstructionism that strikes at the very heart of representative democracy.

Michelle Bachman, another great Republican leader
Its no secret our nation may very well be experiencing the hand of judgment Our nation has seen judgment not once but twice on September 11.
But if Bachmann has identified the problem, fear not, because she also has the solution.
Thats why were going to have 9-1-1 Pray on that day. To protect America from further attacks, the former Republican front-runner for the U.S. presidency then proposed a comprehensive national security plan:
What is the answer? The answer is humbling ourselves before an almighty God, crying out to an almighty God, saying not of ourselves but you, would you save us oh God? We repent of our sins, we turn away from them, we seek you, we seek your ways.
I think Issa's Benghazi committee is going after the wrong guy. He should be hauling God in for interrogation.

LOL Of The Week: Destroying Hillary Clinton Is The GOPs Only Hope For 2016
Just days after C-SPAN began its Road to White House 2016, front runners for the GOP presidential nomination Rand Paul (R-KY) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) have begun blasting the woman they fear they may have to face in less than four years Hillary Clinton.
While House Republicans are intent on using the tragedy in Benghazi to engage in their ritual witch-hunt of any Democratic president who wins a second term, Paul and Rubio along with Karl Rove and Dick Cheney are intent on destroying the reputation of Americas most popular politician, likely in hopes of dissuading her from running.
Desperate, uncontainable fear of a Hillary candidacy is one of the few Republican policies that makes sense.
#118937 May 13, 2013
It is being reported that Republican, deep cover operatives placed in the IRS by Karl Rove under the Bush administration are responsible for targeting tea party groups, leaking the information to bring attacks on the Obama administration.

Bush Secretary of Defense Robert Gates Calls Out Conservatives on Benghazi
" I think the one place where I might be able to say something useful has to do with some of the talk of the military response. And I listened to the testimony of both Secretary Panetta and General Dempsey, and frankly had I been in the job at the time, I think that my decisions would have been just as theirs were.
We dont have a ready force standing by in the Middle East, despite all the turmoil thats going on with planes on strip alert, troops ready to deploy at a moments notice. And so getting someone there in a timely way would have been very difficult if not impossible.
And frankly Ive heard, well, why didnt you just fly a fighter jet over there to scare em with the noise or something. Given the number of surface to air missiles that have disappeared from Qaddafis arsenals I would not have approved sending an aircraft, a single aircraft, over Benghazi under those circumstances.
And with respect to sending in Special Forces or a small group of people to try and provide help, based on everything Ive read people really didnt know what was going on in Benghazi contemporaneously, and to send some small number of Special Forces or other troops in without knowing what the environment is, without knowing what the threat is, without having any intelligence in terms of what is actually going on on the ground, I think would have been very dangerous and personally I would not have approved that because we just dont its sort of a cartoonish impression of military capabilities and military forces. The one thing our forces are noted for is planning and preparation before we send people in harms way, and there just wasnt time.
