Premiums are dependent upon the number of family members to be insured and how much a person makes in a year.
A family of 4 making $25,000 might only have to pay $500 per year.
You can check for yourself by trying various combinations at the following website:

A family of four paying $500 a year when they couldn't get insurance before the ACA went into effect sure is a great reason to abolish Obamacare. Now isn't it? Hypocrite frightwingnut teabagger.

Why couldn't they get insurance. Affordability. You're such a dumbf-ck. The ACA has huge deductibles and co-pays, not any more affordable than before, except the fact that the "family" is out $500.00 bucks. You are just a pathetic parrot for the left. You flunked math, didn't you mykro dick?????

If this becomes a cluster ph uk, tens of millions of people will actually downsize their lives to not have to pay the extreme health care costs. there are going to be increases also in all of our services, food and store bought items and so much more. This on top of the hidden inflation in everything we do because of the high deficits.

Funny how this lousy administration never uses the term "inflation". In Fact, they are the same clowns who insisted the recession was over in early 2010. What a bunch of lying clowns.

If one is NOT the in the group CARRYING the people who will get subsidies, then of COURSE one would WANT Obamacare.

Those who have to PAY MORE because of it definitely have reason to want to ABOLISH OBAMACARE.

As more REAL stories come out about the REALITY of costs to middle class families, the MORE PEOPLE will be suffering from Obamacare STICKER SHOCK!!

Yes, it is frightening. And yes, it will happen!

All Boehner has to do is allow a clean vote....if the house votes against the cleanCR then the President is forced to make a deal...until that clean CR comes up for a vote why should he? The reason it has not come up for a vote Mr. Speaker knows there will be enough defections to pass the CR.
HOUSE: 26, SENATE: 0...All Reid has to do is let the 28 bills come to the floor for discussion as the constitution dictates.

I call my Congressman every other day to encourage him to stand his ground. We have Representative Government, not a King. Obama can meet with the Representatives, or face the consequences. They are doing what we sent them to Washington to do.

Possibly through an employer, but many of the corps are removing family from the insurance plans. Some people don't have insurance now because of unemployment. The bottom line, to mandate insurance for health which you may or may not get sick enough to use is simply a tool to cover those who don't pay. Illegals don't pay, they are not required to, yet here they are. Draining our resources while the gubmint enacts more mandates to force us to cover them. How much of your car insurance covers those who have none and have accidents. Mine is about 45% of the yearly total. That is BS.
You know you're just making numbers up, right?
