May 26, 2013 Full story: Chicago Tribune 170

If you are talking about the 5000 or so who died in George W. Bush's war in Iraq, they would be sorry
to learn that their deaths had nothing to do with
our freedoms. They died to get Bush reelected so
he could authorize the corporate feeding frenzy
that took place and the plundering of the
American people of hundreds of billions of tax
dollars. The biggest act of piracy in the history of the human race.

Who are you trying to convince?
After 8 years of the Bush disaster you tea-bagging idiots have absolutely no credibility…“We the People’ just re-elected President Obama in a landslide, so the only fools you are spewing your nonsense to are the idiots (like you) who were stupid enough to waste their votes on that loser Romney.

Patty has a good point. The progressives have only been in control for 5 years and they have blown past GW in spending and debt. Benghazi, the IRs and the DOJ things don't count because they didn't know they were happening. They are all fixed, move on.

Blown past? Pure hokum and you know it.
Liar!

FYI if you can actually read:

"Federal outlays over the past three years GREW AT THEIR SLOWEST PACE since 1953-56, when Dwight D. Eisenhower was president. Expenditures as a share of the economy sank last year to 22.8 percent, their lowest level since 2008, according to Congressional Budget Office data. That’s down from 24.1 percent in 2011 and a 64-year high of 25.2 percent in 2009, when Obama pushed through an $831 billion stimulus package.[...]

Spending grew just 0.6 percent from 2009 to 2012, according to data compiled by Bloomberg from government reports.

Obama has already agreed on $1.4 trillion in spending cuts with Congressional leaders, which, combined with new revenues and reduced interest payments, will reduce the deficit by $2.5 trillion over the next decade.

Spending is expected to fall 1.3 percent in fiscal 2013, according to projections from the Congressional Budget Office. Annualized spending under Obama is growing slower than it has under the past four Republican presidents, as ThinkProgress noted in March. Meanwhile, a Goldman Sachs analyst told Bloomberg that a stronger economy will CUT THE DEFICIT to $500 billion, to less than 3 percent of gross domestic product, by 2015"

Gary - You might have a point, I can't read progressive well.

Bush added $5Trillion the debt in 8 years.

Debt when Obama took office -$10,626,877,048,913.08
4 years later the debt is -$16,736,576,618,573.30

Now if I read this progressively correct, 16-10=6, so Obama has saved us $6Trillion. And, he is 'expected' to 'save' us even more in the next ten years. Guess he'll need a few more terms. OK, I think I've got it.

You forgot the cost of the wars he started.

And the cost of getting the economy back on track after he drove the car off the road and into a tree.

The two wars, the two recessions, and most of the 16 trillion are GW Bush.

I don't have to hide from the fact- or pretend historians rank GW as the worst president in our lifetime.

I love that analogy. Almost as much as the one where we hire Obama to pull us out of the ditch and then he drives us off a cliff. At least under Bush our enemies were foreign and not domestic journalists and opposing political parties.
