The evidence is that he is a troll, using 'birds' to get sympathy for a denial of evidence. And now trying to gain the upper hand with 'argument by authority' which isn't based on actual research but on clained 'memberships'. If true, they just point out his fanaticism, while his rejection of actual debate point out his lack of credibility.

No. I have repeatedly shown that deaths due to cars, towers, high rises, power lines, even cats, etc FAR FAR exceed the mortality from wind generators. And I have given references to the studies.

Nor have I claimed any 'authority'. My posts stand for what they are. Reasoned arguments backed by scientific references.

Now go back to sleep. Just give another 'whatever' to show how little you care and how feeble your response is.

Just a side note; If you are in West Kansas, you could also get Bullocks Orioles. They have a black stripe through the eye instead of the all black face of the Baltimore. Sometimes they breed with Baltimore in the western part of their range.
You will also get Orchard Orioles. The adult males are a dark burnt orange on the belly and breast instead of bright orange. An immature male Orchard will be yellow with a black throat patch. The female Orchard Oriole will be all yellow.
You can distinguish them from the "yellow-colored" warblers by the long slender (blackbird-like) bill and larger size.
If you have flowers by the pond, be warned, frogs will eat hummingbirds, as will Praying Mantis.

She has likewise inspired me on many occasions, and I have asked her advice on bird matters for some time now. She does know alot about birds of all kinds. I not only respect her prowess in that area, I often encourage others to learn from her vast knowledge concerning birds.
I just wish she could be more open to ideas that come from outside her birdbrain, instead of just shutting down and insisting she is right and that the axioms of nature will bend to her wishes, because she says so. It puts people off. It angers them. It stimies real communication.

A small private plane crashed due to a collision with a bird, but not like last year’s Miracle on the Hudson. The bird, singular, that brought this plane down was at least the size of a small plane. The wreckage of this plane sported a mystery: Plastered all over the tail assembly were the blood, bone fragments, tissue and huge feathers of an unknown bird. BAsed on comparison to known birds, this avian had to be at least 15 feet long with a wingspam of nearly 25 feet.

Come on, details please.

I met them this weekend in Santa Fe, NM. When, where, and how long do you "see" them?

They could not survive WY winters.

Incorrect.
There is no federal law that says I can nnot crill a water well on my own property. There is no state nor local law that states that either.
Cite your proof. You say these prohibition laws exist ... prove it.
The EPA, a federal agency, will not allow anybody to install a septic sysem in my area. Start dumping sewage into the ground without a permit and you will quickly find out about the laws. Also an EPA, permit is required to drill a well along with state and local permits which will not be issued since a water system exists. Also a occupancy permit will not be issued for any dwelling without a connection to the water and sewage system. If you want to see the specific laws and regulations use the internet. They are all out there if you are smart enough to use Google. If not get a grown up to do it for you.

"FAR FAR exceed the mortality from wind generators. And I have given references to the studies."
What "studies" would those be?
Which wind farms have been "studied," other than eagle deaths at Altamont Pass?(Which, by the way, showed the deaths to be so numerous they are reducing the number and location of turbines, AND changing the size and style, as well as when they run.

How many "studies" were done regarding NOCTURNAL MIGRANT SONGBIRDS?

You said there were federal laws against it. Now you admit that all it takes is permits.

Glad you live there huh. I am.

Hmmmm. Maybe I've read too many horror stories about massive fatalities of birds flying into tall structures during migration and I've applied what I know about that to the newest tall structures taking over the country.

If someone has an idea to make these things (not only wind mills, but ALL towers) visible to birds in the dark of night during bad or foggy weather, I'm all ears. I'll even donate my $10K to the company that makes that device.
