So you believe 4 civilian lives are more valuable than 4,700 military lives. Duly noted.

None of that happens if the vote in Baghdad doesn't occur first.

Now all sides in the conflict hate America, not just the bad guys.

"Czar" was the term commonly used inside the WH for a set of executive advisors appointed directly by Obama. One of them was Van Jones ---who later explicitly identified himself as a "Communist". He was an early instigator of the OWS movement.

You should at least know the theory behind the practice.

We used to make calculators here in the US until liberals drove our businesses overseas.

the point here is that it seems to be only one party in the Us that continually has these partisan witch hunts based on nothing factual that waste million$ of our taxes for nothing...
and that party is the GOP.

maybe all the members of the GOP that have participated in this that are lawyers should be disbarred...

Yeah. We also used to make quality cars in Detroit, until greedy conservatives thought about cutting costs by not outfitting cars (Pintos) with a $1.25 part that could have prevented a fireball if the car was involved in a rear end collision with the left turn signal on.

By the way, out of the 11 free trade agreements currently in place, only one was signed during the Clinton administration. One was signed under the Reagan administration and the other 9 under your "nature boy" Dubya's administration.

Go relearn your history CPA$$

And don't tell me about the theory behind the practice. I know how to count back change. Pinhead.

Clinton wasn't disbarred dummy. He agreed to a 5 year suspension of his license to practice law in Arkansas, as a result of summary judgment entered against him in the Jones v. Clinton case. Suspension isn't disbarment.

Granted, he was impeached as president. Yet, he still managed to leave office with the highest approval ratings of any president since Truman.

Again, go relearn your history.

My mistake. The court did enter summary judgment against Clinton in Jones v. Clinton. However, it was the court finding Clinton in civil contempt for providing false testimony, which prompted the court to referred the case to the Arkansas Supreme Court for disciplinary procedures. It was there were he agreed to a five-year suspension of his license to practice law.

Either way, the Jones v. Clinton case did not arise out of any actions of Clinton while he was President.

If we had no clear target against which to retaliate and Afghanistan wasn't directly linked enough, then why was Afghanistan the first target after 9/11?
We knew that the Taliban regime was a harboring a breading ground for Al Qaeda, and that Bin Laden and Mohamed Atef were hiding in Afghanistan. But, we couldn't get to either of them without taking the Taliban out.
While I agree that GWB had a need for a PR win, I also believe he harbored a personal vendetta against Hussein because, as he stated, Husein hated them (them meaning the Bush family) and that he was the guy who tried to kill his dad.

Bottom line, we had no business in Iraq. And greater than 4,400 dead troops and 800 Billion later, the GOP has still not learned the lesson.
Let me address those first two paragraphs. Why did we hit Afghanistan if as I asserted they weren't a major link to the authors of 9/11? Again, pure PR. Bush couldn't do "nothing" or he would have looked helpless. Yes, the Taliban gave aid and shelter to Al Qaeda, but hey they weren't the only ones, and if we truly "knew" Al Qaeda and Bin Laden were in Afghanistan, then logic dictates that if we "knew it" we must have had a good-ish idea "where" they were, and we certainly didn't need to launch a ground campaign. We could have bombed the shit out of the general area we thought they were in and sent in special forces to mop up. No... a ground invasion was a much better PR spectacle. And where did it get us - absolutely no where. I doubt Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda leadership were ever in Afghanistan. Heck we know now that Bin laden had been living across the border in neighboring Pakistan. The invasion of Afghanistan was largely a waste of US lives and resources, except that it served as a PR tool for Bush Jr.

Well, let's see...

"Two years after graduating, Obama was hired in Chicago as director of the Developing Communities Project, a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Roseland, West Pullman, and Riverdale on Chicago's South Side. He worked there as a community organizer from June 1985 to May 1988. He helped set up a job training program, a college preparatory tutoring program, and a tenants' rights organization in Altgeld Gardens. Obama also worked as a consultant and instructor for the Gamaliel Foundation, a community organizing institute. In mid-1988, he traveled for the first time in Europe for three weeks and then for five weeks in Kenya, where he met many of his paternal relatives for the first time. He returned to Kenya in 1992 with his fiancée Michelle and his half-sister Auma. He returned to Kenya in August 2006 for a visit to his father's birthplace, a village near Kisumu in rural western Kenya.

In late 1988, Obama entered Harvard Law School. He was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review at the end of his first year, and president of the journal in his second year. During his summers, he returned to Chicago, where he worked as an associate at the law firms of Sidley Austin in 1989 and Hopkins & Sutter in 1990. After graduating with a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard in 1991, he returned to Chicago. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review gained national media attention."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama#Com...

Graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law school, one of the most prestigious law schools in the country. I'd say that's a pretty good achievement in itself.

What have YOU done? Did you even go to college?

Tora Bora, Bin Laden was trapped there after intesse bombing. Bush refuse the request for special forces to complete the task in 2002. We invaded Iraq instead.
