Our Armed Forced used to be heroes. Now, they torture and kill harmless, friendly beagles!

The Department of Veterans Affairs is pushing forward with invasive and ultimately fatal experiments on dogs as part of the VA's medical research program, according to documents obtained by USA TODAY...

Just a few examples:

In Milwaukee, the experiments call for researchers to remove sections of dogs’ brains to test neurons that control breathing before the animals are killed by lethal injection, research records show.

In Cleveland, tests involve using electrodes on dogs’ spinal cords to measure cough reflexes before and after severing the cords.

In Richmond, Virginia, experiments include implanting pacemakers in dogs, then inducing abnormal heart rhythms and running the animals on treadmills to test cardiac function before euthanizing them by injection or draining their blood.

Horrific, absolutely horrific! It looks like it's true, when the welfare runs out, you just join the armed forces. What a bunch of cowards. No wonder we haven't won a war in over 50 years! Now I see why they burn our flag and stomp it in the streets, we forgot Who We Are.

If you or your family are ever in an accident that severs any of your spinal cords, my urgent prayer is that they don't use any knowledge garnered from these experiments to help you to be normal again.

Then, we should send your children down to South America, so the organ thieves can take their kidneys... That would save lives too.

Oh, I forgot, black folk don't like making personal sacrifices. Y'all just like when other people make sacrifices for you.

You're just another blackie, standing there with your hand out, for whatever you think you might need or can get, regardless of what the cost might be for others; animal or human.

Very little is gained from animal experimentation anymore. It is archaic and an exercise in pure barbarism. Certainly, not enough knowledge is gained from the above, to justify such monstrous cruelty.

Stupid should hurt, then you'd be in a lot more pain than those poor puppies. Only a dummy could be so enthusiastic, about some mad scientist dissecting a poor dog's brain.

When was the last time you or your family ever suffered such an injury? As a matter of fact, when was the last time anyone you ever met, suffered such an injury, to justify such cruelty?

Even if, such cruelty can be justified, what does it say about mankind as a race, that we benefit from cruelty we inflict on our fellow inhabitants of this world?

My band of brothers have been suffering such injuries since like forever. I had a neighbor who was in a wheelchair for like 30 years finally secumbed to the depression and killed himself, I have another neighbor confined to a wheelchair but he is tolerating it for now been 10 years. My cousins husband bed ridden from a mine roof collapse. Need any more dumbazz.

First of all...

BULL!

Secondly, how would dissecting some poor puppy's brain and torturing it, help your imaginary crippled friends anyway??

Thirdly, do you often have fantasies about people in wheelchairs, you freaking weirdo!!??

It can find ways of possibly getting brain connections to regenerate. And no, why would anyone fantasize about people being in wheelchairs? Did I happen to mention that I myself was in a wheelchair after my stroke 3 years ago for 6 months will I worked to establish new control networks in my brain until I could walk again. I was one of the lucky ones and got my faculties back after a tremendous struggle. Why are you losers so angry all the time. Life is short, better enjoy it will your able!!

In reality, medically oriented animal experimentation and vivisection doesn't really do all that much, let alone justifying all that cruelty and torture to some completely innocent creature.

Thomas Edison used to electrocute dogs and cats, just to prove to people that electricity can kill.

If I was around, Tesla would have been able to get the credit he deserved and there would have been a few dogs excreting digested Edison tartare.

It’s spineless wimps like you, that took the “Hero” out of “American Hero”. It looks like Putin’s tribe are the new world’s heroes:

We torture them, while the Russian Heroes save them; because of American cowards, just like you.

t all depends, if you are receiving the treatment learned from it or not. I'm sure(as you lefties are so fond of saying) if it saves just one life, the person who's life it saves or returns to normal would say it was well worth the trade off.
