Sarah Palin: Paul Revere's 'Midnight Ride' Warned the Brits

Jun 3, 2011 | Posted by: Iria | Full story: www.huliq.com

Former vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin has never been accused of being a brain surgeon, but her latest gaffe is another cautionary example of why she is, many say, unqualified to be a Presidential candidate: Paul Revere's ride was not to warn U.S. Revolutionary War patriots, but instead to warn the British.

The more ignorant a right-winger is,(you know, the “folksy” kind) the more appealing he or she is to the republican base.

Sarah Palin is a dumb bimbo; and when I say dumb, I mean that she’s a freakin-idiot!

In that ride, Revere hung two lanterns and rode to Lexington to warn Patriot leaders that the British army was arriving “by sea.” Palin, however, offered her own take, on the tale, which as usual was ... interesting.

"He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms uh by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free and we were going to be armed".

You can watch a video below, which proves the point.

Palin was the same person who didn't know that Africa was a continent, and didn't know all the countries in North America. Even Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, whose company employs Palin, believes she is "an idiot."

Palin talking is, for the press, like candy offered to sugar-addicted people. They love her and can't resist her, even though they know she has no nutritional value.

"...Even Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, whose company employs Palin, believes she is "an idiot."

Palin was the same person who didn't know that Africa was a continent, and didn't know all the countries in North America. Now how could any reporter resist following Palin around to see what she will say next? They can not resist.

And she hasn't let them down, either. She thinks Paul Revere made his famous ride TO WARN THE BRITISH.

"HE WHO WARNED, UH, THE BRITISH that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms uh by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free and we were going to be armed."

Minor point but everyone in Boston was British in 1775. For those of you who failed American History, the Revolution was British subjects rebelling against the British crown.

Perhaps Palin gives those who are "dumb" some hope that they can make a heckuva alot of money, be trailed by the press, have political aspirations over and above her station and continue to bask in the limelight?

Geeeeez, Moth - The Wasilla Quitta is as dumb as you are. Or, to re-phrase, you're as dumb as The Wasilla Quitta. You must be very proud.

Priceless.
Was that when Revere told the British that the Tea Party would resort to second amendment remedies if the British tried to raise the debt limit and then demanded "let my people go" and led the Americans to the promised land?

The only reason that I would have to disagree with you about that is because those “dumb people” would eagerly vote for her to be the President. And keep in mind that these are the same “dumb people” that voted for Bush, and in spite of everything that this nation has suffered through because of the ineptitude and blatant ignorance of Bush, they would now double down on Palin… who makes Bush seem semi-intelligent.

No, it’s not about their hopes or dreams; it’s about their stupidity.

Sarah Palin Bus Tour Could Be Harbinger of Doom for Republicans

Rodney Southern

COMMENTARY | Sarah Palin has spent the last couple of years square in the middle of the public eye. As a registered Republican, I cannot recall a single time in that period when that eye was not full of tears, anger or heartbreak. Palin has a knack for drawing the ire of virtually everyone on the planet

MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell, for one, is skeptical about a Palin run, insisting she has simply "chosen to manipulate press excitement around her," and is just creating hype for the publicity, like billionaire businessman Donald Trump did.

"The day that it becomes absolutely clear to everyone that doesn't already get it that Palin will never run for president - on that day, she becomes worth half as much or less as a reality TV host."
