And European Union should do the same.
All property and bank accounts of Russian lawmakers in European and American banks should be arrested, their families should be deported back to Russia.

The law banning the adoption of Russian children will be cancelled soon. After a threat of being blacklisted, Russian state Duma deputees are talking now about their readiness to capitulate.

Magnitsky Act is working, Russian lawmakers are ready to do anything what the U.S. government want. Ask them them to dance nude on a Red Square. They will obey.

May I add that although the ban is unfortunate, this petition goes beyond the absurd.

We are certainly an arrogant and self-righteous bunch in America, aren't we?

Oh, I see. It's a petition to ban Russians from adopting American children? OK, now I understand.

Why didn't you say so in the first place. LOL

The White House's 'We the People' website opened in 2011, allowing users to author direct petitions to the US government, and to sign other users' petitions. Once a petition reaches 25,000 signatures, it is supposedly reviewed by the White House.

However, nearly 50 petitions that reached the 25,000 signature threshold have not seen a response from the White House.

A recent survey revealed that 62 percent of Russians believe that foreigners should not adopt Russian children; 52 percent support the adoption bill banning US citizens from adopting Russian children. The data was collected by Tiburon Company, which surveyed 1,000 Russian Internet users between the ages of 18 and 55

But what about their children? They live in USA and learn in American universities. Their money? Billions of stolen dollars on accounts in American banks. Their property on Manhattan? I'm sure they don't want to sell it. USA is their home. Russia is their working place. If we can consider stealing as a work, of course.

I don't really get this, each country should take care of their orphaned children paid for by the countries government. The best interest alone should be the interest of the children. Jockeying international politics takes away from the initial problem, set up foster parents and tax breaks for them, incentives, and spot checks by social service staff to make sure they are performing their end of the process, the ones who are not should be held criminally responsible and accountable to pay back any monetary gains they made. Why do Americans want to adopt Russian children there's plenty in the states that need a loving family. Maybe I'm missing something but at the vey least these governments have a duty to protect their young citizens and not export them.

That is a mystery for me too.

My guess is that those who want to adopt a child in Russia would never be allowed to do it in USA.

Do you think Yanks would give a shit about your death in jail?

Magnitsky worked for Firestone Duncan company that`s why Yanks were so pissed off when he was jailed. Who knows what he told being in jail about the company.

So why American congressmen banned detectives and wardens of the jail to enter USA, which never apllied for an American visa, much less had any property there, and don`t ban Russian oligarchs, which really robed Russia?

In fact Brits, lap dogs of Yanks, gave assylum to Borodin, who had stolen our money from the bank of Moscow. I don`t even mention about such scumbags like Berezovsky.

If the children are yours why did you put them in orphanage?
