Democrats are the party of the middle class.
Republicans are the party of the wealthy special interests.

It's gonna get comical!
Yeah, let's bail out Iraq, Israel, Egypt, Afghanistan, etc. etc. INSTEAD. According to FUX of FUX News, to hell with America. America doesn't deserve it's tax dollars, just foreign debt to countries where our jobs have been off-shored. Other countries deserve the taxes that we pay. Let's continue to give TAX BREAKS to companies like Hostess that off-shore jobs, oh and give their execs million dollar bonuses as a parting gift.

I listened to a program on NPR in which they interviewed an economist for the International Monetary Fund about the banking and financial crisis. He said through the thirties, forties, fifties, sixties, and seventies the total debt owed by private American citizens to financial institutions bounced along at varying percentages without ever going above 50% of GDP, until the eighties (UNDER REAGAN) when it began exceeding 50%.
There have only been two years in history in which the debt owed by American citizens reached 100% of GDP. The first time was 1929 (UNDER HOOVER). The second time was 2007 (UNDER BUSH).
If it isn't on FUX News, it isn't considered true. There facts are feared. In Michigan, governor Snyder wants the State to take over all the public schools, even in high-performing districts, so he can eliminate critical thinking from the curriculum.

Corporate Head, those who will feel the brunt of the increased taxes aren't complaining, as a matter of fact, they don't see a problem paying upwards of 4% more in Taxes and loosing some of the advantages they enjoyed over the last 10 years.
Those who seem to be up in arms about the expiring Bush cuts that lead America into this Fiscal Crisis are those lobbying to keep the ultra wealthy in a position to drop crumbs they can scrap up.
The Bush rates expire, end of story. If some of you weren't around or paying attention in 1996, some of the rhetoric from the right is the very same crying and complaining they did in dissent to Clinton's tax increases that lead to the greatest economic expansion in the last half century in America.
The current Republican proposal in short is to extend the Bush Cuts that caused the economic calamity, and cut Social Security and Medicare to pay for the overspending of the Republicans from 2001 to 2009.
Social Security and Medicare aren't responsible for the explosion in spending, The wars, and the Bush induced recession are the primary culprits for Financial Armageddon in 2008.
Great post, but you forgot to mention the other Bush factors that caused our current fiscal mess, two unnecessary wars, Bush knew Bin Laden was in Pakistan and didn't care because he and his buddies PROFITED from the wars, and his unfunded prescription drug plan. Lastly, notwithstanding the GOP BS, Bush was responsible for all the reckless deregulation that included the sub-prime mess which caused housing values to plummet along with tax revenues, EXACTLY what Republicans WANTED.

No problem, just send them OUT with their money. Rmoney needs to lose his anchor-baby citizenship, if he wants to bank in the Cayman Islands. He's hiding his money so he doesn't have to pay for his wars. He is a traitor to American through and through. That is why America rejected him.

He can't even get a democrat to vote for his budgets or tax plans. That means he has no mandate, but will function by a end around congress which is not in the contitution.
