President Donald Trump chose Brett Kavanaugh, a politically connected conservative judge, for the Supreme Court Monday night, setting up a ferocious confirmation battle with Democrats as he seeks to shift the nation's highest court further to the right. A favorite of the Republican legal establishment in Washington, Kavanaugh, 53, is a former law clerk for retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy.

It didnít matter who the selection was, the Democrats would oppose anyone chosen by the president. Itís just what they do.
A useless party that no longer represents Americans.

The democratic party represents racism, hatred, murder of children, communism, anti-freedom and it's members are all signatories of a grand pact with the AntiChrist.

The Democrats opposed Justice Kennedy when he was appointed. They are insane. They opposed this nomination before he was appointed. This is not the nomination they need to fear, it is the next one that will secure a Constitutional Court for decades. Justice Ginsburg, and one other Justice whose name escapes me are in their late 80s. If the Democrats had fielded a half way sane candidate for President in 2016 they could have filled the court.

If you think the progressive democrats are upset now, just wait until President Trump appoints yet another new Justice to replace Ginsburg...or at least what is left of the progressive democrats will be upset...if there are any left by then.

Trump, out to protect himself. He is so obviously guilty of conspiring with Putin, all he cares about is trying to stay out of prison and apparently Kavanaugh said he would help with that little problem.
When Kavanaugh sees everything that Trump is guilty of, when he sees the proof, he will be appalled.

Kennedy was better than nothing but was he a good man? I think not, he cooperated with a criminal and his son let Deutsche Bank loan Trump a billion. So when lowlife Trump says he is a billionaire...think again.

Kavanaugh has voted in favor of every Corporate decision. He has voted against our environment...he is filth. He is bought and paid for by Corporate America.

The Democrats don't represent anything other than rebellion against the Republicans....but with only disposable minorities and straight, white males putting anything at risk. That is why this tantrum and others keep failing and continue to shrink their support base.

Just angry women who want power and chivalry too.

I officially now deem them to be the Scarlet O'Hara party.

Thanks to Harry Reid and the liberal left for establishing the nuclear option. The democrats can lay on the floor and kick and scream all they like, Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed by October.

The sky isn't falling for the liberals; it has fallen.

Kavanaugh will support:

Ending abortions
Marriage between one man and one woman
Ending the invasion of illegal immigrants
Ending democrat fraud voting
Expanding the 2A for law abiding citizens
Putting criminals in prison for a long time.
The death penalty for heinous crimes

The progressive liberals must be out of their minds, as there is absolutely nothing they can do other than put those pinkpussy hats on again and get into their safe spaces.

There was a better choice. Trump is trying to placate the Democrats and create an opening for bipartisanship, which is respectable. Democrats rejecting the man simply because Trump chose him will show again their real character of deconstructionism. In that sense, Kavanaugh is a good PR move. Kavanaugh's history of some mealy mouthed, politically correct comments on cases suggests he may be too much like Kennedy. Let's hope he is at least a bit more constructionist than that.

ABC was whining, ranting and basically acting liberal before the name was even revealed.

I think you are missing the obvious reason for this choice: Kavanaugh thinks that Presidents cannot be indicted for crimes.
