BROWN: Beck may be in trouble at Fox

I cannot say anything original about Egypt's newfound freedom, so I'll just say to the protesters, "May God bless your heroic efforts." Conservatives John Fund of the Wall Street Journal, and Rich Lowry and Bill Kristol, editors of the National Review and the Weekly Standard, respectively, have criticized Fox News' Glenn Beck for his views on the ... <quoted text>Thank you. I agree with you. If we all stuck just to the issues and evaluated each issue on what we think about it, wrong, right, cut it, keep it, whatever, we could solve all of the country's problems. This nonsense about only watch Fox TV and hunt for evil commies and liberals is all nonsense. Both parties spent plenty of money, do plenty of dumb things, both parties have their lobbyists, their special interests. I would say if we added up where this 14 trillion dollars of debt really came from, in reality about 9 trillion of it came from the Republicans, and about 5 trillion came from the Dems. JMO.
I just don't like this idea of polarized thinking, of only believing what someone on TV says. People who can't think about things themselves and can't see both parties have done things that ruined the country, are not thinking, and they shouldn't be voting, IMO. Nice to talk to you.
Personally, I think 80% of the debt was greedy bankers and their republican lackeys… but we wont go there..

You could be right. Most of the debt does come from the Repubs. Reagan, Bush Sr. and George W. were the biggest spenders.

in the spirit of truth telling, I'll admit dems are not entirely without blame either. Still, those DAMN BANKERS!! AND THE WHOLE CREDIT LENDING INDUSTRY IN GENERAL!! Its just CRIMINAL what they've done to this country!!

when I wonder, did this country abandon its core values of truth, honesty, and decency? We used to stand for something as a nation, and other countries and peoples looked up to us because of that….
Now, we are a sad parody of what we were, an aging boxer remembering his glory days…or an over the hill actress reliving her youth…

In spite of what we've degenerated into, I think that underneath, we are all linked by a pride in the fact we're AMERICAN, and deep down, I believe that we could, as a nation, if circumstances called for it, rise to the occasion and epitomize the best in human nature. I DO believe that. We may fight like siblings in a large family, but if some outsiders came along and tried to start trouble, we'd stand shoulder to shoulder with each other and fight for a common cause.(its too bad that the last time we did that it was under Bush's false pretenses, because after 9/11, I do feel we were closer to being united as a nation, as a people, than we had been since WW2).

So yes, we may trade insults on this board, but underneath, I believe we are still united by a love for this country, no matter who leads it and no matter what trials and tribulations we might endure.

And guess what?? its OK to disagree!! thats the cosmic joke that unfortunately some people still dont get. ITS OK TO DISAGREE! In fact, the fact that we disagree just proves that our society still nurtures progress! Remember, river rocks didnt start out smooth!

Congress MAKES THE LAWS. The president signs bill which passed through congress and the house
A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS HAS BEEN IN CONTROL FOR 5 1/2 years.
A Democratic Congress was in control
during Bush's administration

Anyone who blames Bush for the disaster of the economy surly don't know politics and how laws are put in place.

Thank You Mr Bush for stopping all those terror attacks on our foreign interest and on our home land.

Clinton just sat and allowed terrorist to continue to attack America. Under Clinton 12 attacks NO action. Discrasing America in the Oval Office with Monica

Under Bush 1 attack and he took action, and attacks stopped.

Ungrateful people are those who criticise him for keeping America safe.

Watch Pamela, she will start pushing her propaganda about Ron Paul the socialist weasel soon.
Do the research on all candidates before deciding. If America did research in 08 we would NOT be in the mess we are in now.

The financial crisis was driven as much by an overzealous interest in helping others as it was by greed. Clinton, Bush, and your elected officials all felt it was government's job to extend the joys of home ownership to every last American, so they tampered with lending laws and leveraged taxpayer dollars to get everyone a mortgage - whether they could afford one or not.

It is a natural human tendency to want stuff you can't afford. And when a well-meaning government undermines the idea that people should pay their own way and makes big ticket items too easy to get, consumers respond by taking and wanting more and more. "Why not take out an equity loan for granite counters and a new BMW - consumerism = patriotism, and the government is there to back me up."

Sure, there were a lot of unscrupulous lenders, but there were many more unrealistic, greedy Americans who should have known that in the end you don't get something for nothing, and there were thousands of stupid, meddling, idealistic, liberal-minded politicians who brought all this on.

Wrong-headed, idiotic, ignorance... That's slander, but it's NOT a response, Chill. Make an effort. Be specific. Try to look minimally thoughtful. Are you saying that the government didn't encourage bad loans? There's substantial evidence that they did pressure lenders to make them. Are you saying that homeowners didn't overdo their own debt? Your disagreement is obvious, but you fail to articulate your REASONING. If you have done some, show it. If you only call others "idiot", then that's what you look like.

Beck is not going anywhere.

He has been doing the job the other so-called "journalists" are not or will not do.

He has single-handedly exposed Obama for the Radical Socialist that he is. Along with all of his radical connections to Communists, Socialist and every other filthy anti-american organization on the planet.

If it's Anti-Capitalist or Anti-American, Obama is all for it.

Everything that is happening in the Middle East, Beck was talking about 4, count'em, 4 years ago.

Just because you have your heads in the sand, up Obama's ass, or just don't want to look, dosen't mean Beck is wrong.

Keep kicking that hippie ass Glenn.

Whose God would that be, Mr. Brown? Allah? Or didn't you know that the Egyptian Military has already made moves against Egypt's Coptic Christians? Of course, you wouldn't know that since President Obama and the leftist media have totally ignored the event.

Or perhaps your comfortable with the idea that the Iran has the use of the Suez Canal.

Beck seems to have a good grasp on our history and that of other rises and falls in world powers. He paints a good picture of the connections between the regime and revolutionary facists that the state run media won't. For that I give him about a 60% grade.

Where he loses 40% is his obvious mormon preaching that he mixes in. Have you ever tried to by the "emergency supplies" he pushes? All Utard (mormon) owned. Last week he had some kind of anti abortion show. I got through about 1 min. of his tripe and had to turn it off. I'm not sure that the value that he represents can overcome his religious bent.

I think that is one of the biggest problems facing us in the "New Republican Party". Financial, social, interactive, conservatism is great. How can we get there without the invisible sky wizard. We're smarter than that now. We can recognize the philosophy from a time gone by that got us here. But to harp on it like it is a concrete thing is just nauseating.

We're like an aging boxer. I like that. Well, we went broke over having two wars for ten years, all the profits go to Haliburton, Bechtel Corp., Black Water, about 200,000 subcontractors in Iraq and in Afganistan, and big profits for Exxon and BP, for the big oil companies getting their hands on that oil in Iraq. So we pay for all of it, that is a lot of our debt. Bush's tax cuts for the few who own the country, that ran up 1 trillion in debt. So, the two wars and his tax cuts, that's 3 trillion of the debt right there. Next, Bush let 20 million jobs go to China, so we have a 300 billion dollar per year trade imbalance, so we borrow money from China so we can keep buying stuff from China. So, a 300 billion dollar per year trade deficit from lost jobs, times 8 years of Bush, that's another 2.4 trillion dollars of our debt. Add in lost tax revenues from lost jobs, god only knows how much debt that runs up. Add in the interest on all the money Bush borrowed from communist China to keep buying stuff from communist China, that has to be close to another trillion dollars. His free drugs for people on Medicare made him and Rumsfeld and anyone invested in the drug companies millions, think of how much debt free drugs for 50 million old people cost.

On the other side, illegal immigration costs the country about 200 billion dollars per year, girls having kids with no fathers and going onto welfare costs us 300 billion per year. Free medical, Medicaid, bankrupts states and runs into ten of billions of dollars per year per state. If you add in the Dems welfare and the illegals, the Dems are running up over 500 billion a year in debt on us.

Both parties stink on ice. It is time to end both parties, it's time for a real revolution of the people. I think it's time for a Ron Paul revolution, kick all of the bums out.
