And to think the Obama Worshippers disapprove of the Tea Party's generosity.
Why the OW's must want the children and babies of federal workers to die of hunger.
Why do you sicko Obama Worshippers want to murder the children of federal workers?
You should be punished for your attempted murder of children like that Oklahoma City bomber, you terrorists.
You child abusing monsters - you're just like PolPot and AlQaida and Charlie Manson, laughing while you roll in infant's blood, like traitors.
If the Teaboogers think this little offering to government workers is going to win them any applause, they are reflecting their usual level of mental vacuity.

It's not like they are doing anthing essential..
How about privitizing former federal jobs.
Without the 27 levels of non-value added management, with increasing levls of 6 figure salaries, the National Parks could easily upgrade their services and operate at a profit without increasing fees.
While the lazy underworked and overpaid federal pension chasers have expenses, and need to pay for them, why is it that the taxpayer has to pay the bloated salaries and way too generous benefits of these non-essential personnel?
Hint - We Don't
Think about that before you vote in the next election.
Don't worry everyone will remember this sorry circus next election
The GOP obviously know they are sh*tting their pants in front of the nation..
What the clearly are trying to do is
BUY PEOPLE OFF WITH FREE STUFF(lol i couldn't help myself)
The Conservatives should just give the car keys back to the adults (Democrat and Republican)...before someone gets hurt

since they are calling back the furloughed workers I guess the shutdown has lost its pizazz. hard to call it a shutdown when they're all back at work.

Harry Reid has been sitting on bills for the past 2 years...I don't hear you whining about it like a bitch.
Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), deputy majority whip of the House, told reporters that the decision to pass a clean government funding bill BELONGED ENTIRELY to House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).

"He didn't mention it, but I'm sure he could if he wanted to," Cole said as he emerged from Saturday's meeting.

"We're pretty much out of options at this point,'' said Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.). "They're all giddy about it. You know who benefits the most here from a shutdown? The Democrats benefit and they know that."

Cole is right. It's up to Boehner.

For your information, these same Government workers "were not", I repeat "were not" allowed to use their EARNED vacation pay for this furlough. The same thing happened when we were furloughed over the summer. That one we were not paid back for and never will be. Look at the whole picture before spewing out such garbage.

You're still going to get paid to do nothing.

No matter how you try to spin it you're getting a good deal and the taxpayer is getting screwed AGAIN!

I guess as a tax payer myself, I'm being screwed too? We can always live off the State. Instead, we prefer to do our part in defending the US. What have you done?

Yes, you are in essence screwing yourself.

Imagine how your co-workers feel knowing they are forced to work while you sit home doing nothing, yet you BOTH will get your full pay.

I agree 100% that those workers who are essential & therefore required to work should be paid. Non-essential employees are just that: non-essential, and definitely should NOT be paid for doing nothing.

Btw, I did 20+ years in the military.

But there is a difference - these furloughed folks have jobs and want to work and, through no fault of theirs, have been asked not to turn up for work.

Irony being is that these folks have jobs, jobs and jobs and are being asked not to work at them.

Employers often tell employees not to come to work all the time. My husband was told not to work tomorrow as he was originally scheduled, even though he wanted to work; he won't be paid for that day. The difference is in the private sector those workers wouldn't be paid while not working, but it's easy when it's taxpayer dollars being wasted.

So, you're pretty much saying that my EARNED vacation means nothing? Try again....
