Funny, that's exactly the arguments the Repubs used against another four years for Clinton. Are you guys ever right?

It's almost to the point that I'd do exactly the opposite of anything the GOP recommends, as it will surely end up being the best thing I could have done.

I am starting to get a little happy now… I can’t wait to deal with this right-winger at my gym in the morning. I am going to get up in his face and dress him down and dare him to open his mouth. He really believed that Romney was going to be our Osama-killing President.

The second coming of Jimmy Carter my ass…

The most notable recent case of a candidate substantially beating his polls on Election Day came in 1980, when national surveys had Ronald Reagan only two or three points ahead of Jimmy Carter, and he won in a landslide instead. That year IS NOT comparable to this one in many respects: the economy is much better now, there is not a major third-party candidate in the race, and President Obama’s approval ratings are about 50 percent rather than 35 percent for Mr. Carter. And in 1980, Mr. Reagan had late momentum following the presidential debate that year, whereas this year the momentum seems to favor President Obama after Hurricane Sandy and Chris Christie’s lavishing him with so much praise.

Christie is distancing himself from Etchy.

Christie knows a loser when he sees one.
