I like this story, a technology break through. Locking carbon emissions from coal fired power stations into building bricks. Something the coal king and his gang should have been working on themselves instead of trying to work on Obama to just let it go.

Yup. That is the tricky part about climate. It doesn't run on any schedule. Probability is the key and the shift in climate just changes probability of SEVERITY, not of occurence. Like you say, their have been 'late start' to the year before. But there have been more tropical storms than usual too, so it isn't all one way.

Regardless of the answer, the evidence is overwhelming to the contrary.

One thing is clear though you are very confused about the reality..
He's saying we're not 100% certain, so let's do nothing.

It might be different if his doctor told him "You MIGHT have colon cancer." Or if the doctor said "You could have thyroid cancer." He might be able to make a decision then.

I say he might. I don't know.

He wants us to kill our kids and grandkids with CO2 poisoning. He says he cares about HIS kids.

He might. I don't know.

You are stuck on your denial. What you say is not science.
Experimental data is science; why no published peer reviewed experiments for climate change mitigation? Do you suspect the effect of man made CO2 on global climate is too weak for experimental detection?

So let's say the doctor said you may have cancer and that the doctor tells you he has a treatment that is very costly and at the end of the treatment, you will still have cancer, but you will have 1/20,000 less cancer than before. Would you take the treatment?

>>So here's the state of play of climate science a third of a century into the global warming hysteria. They don't have a reliable baseline of global temperature measurements that would allow them to say what is normal and natural and what isn't. Their projections about future warming are demonstrably failing to predict the actual data. And now they have been caught, yet again, fudging the numbers and manipulating the graphs to show a rapid 20th-century warming that they want to be true but which they can't back up with actual evidence.
A theory with this many holes in it would be have been thrown out long ago, if not for the fact that it conveniently serves the political function of indicting fossil fuels as a planet-destroying evil and allowing radical environmentalists to put a modern, scientific face on their primitivist crusade to shut down industrial civilization.
But can't we all just stop calling this "science" now?

This is good. Like making lemonade from lemons. We have over 300 years of coal here in the US. If we can sequester it in building materials that would be great.
