What a self-centered entitled little word that starts with "b" and ends with "itch". Her mom died and I'm sorry about that. Human life is precious and death is always a terrible loss. That said, I have nothing to do with it. Why do I owe anyone my 2nd Amendment rights because her mom died? The world doesn't stop for her mother, a person who ultimately bore responsibility over the massacre. Her mother -as principal- was charged with ensuring a safe environment at the school. She didn't do her job. It was HER fault, not mine. Why do I owe the low-life daughter of an inept principal whose failure cost the lives of a bunch of innocent children anything? Erica Lafferty is a bully. She needs to crawl back under her rock, concentrate on getting off drugs, and STFU.

about self centered! What a sick, hate-filled azz you are! Closing the gun show loophole to make it more difficult for criminals and crazies to get arsenals has nothing to do with your seconds amendment rights. Or as you have demonstrated here with your misogyny and irrational hate, maybe you are crazy - if not a criminal.

.......The criminals are trying to take away your rights under the guise of making the world"safer". More money is stolen with a pen than a gun thounsands of times over and Blumenthal is living proof of that.

She should be asking why her mother or the others didn’t have access to a weapon to counter a shooter that came to a “GUN FREE ZONE” because the shooter knew no one would stop him for at least 20 minutes until the police responded.

So what other tragedy has such a long lived media roll, especially without any pictures of the act taking place, a re-enactment, or pictures of any victims as victims? Just more drama for the crooked politicians.

There's no such thing as a "gun show" loophole, LOL! You idiots conjured up a loophole in your head about something that doesn't exist.

Exactly right, just as these wacks claim there is no law against straw purchases and that law is on the books too. They want to cloud the issue to ram this new gun legislation thought which really is a back door registration for future firearms confiscation.

Not only that, but transfers between individuals within a state is not regulable under the numbered powers of the federal government. The feds have the power to regulate inTERstate commerce, not inTRAstate commerce. The power for the feds to mandate universal background checks of inTRAstate transfers would have opened the pandora's box to them being able to regulate all inTRAstate commerce.
