Our very freedom is on the ballot today. A vote for McCain will keep our Constitution protected. A vote for Obama will be the end of our personal liberties and will begin a State dominated, instead of a people dominated society. He has already said that our Constitution is nothing but a list of negative freedoms and that it was a tragedy that the Warren Court didn't change our Bill of Rights so "government could do more." The Bill of Rights is there to protect us from an over reaching government, Obama wants to tear it down, with it goes our freedoms.

No money for health care but 1 trillion to bail out wealthy firms...who made billions if not trillions of dollars...

No money for the disabled but 10 billion dollars/ month to Iraq which is a country with an 80 billion dollar surplus..

Corporate welfare is far more costly than the pitiful sums this Christian Nation gives to their Brothers and Sisters in desperate need

Hello !! We have been redistributing our hard earned money, all our working lives,( I wouldn't call it wealth, I not wealthy), thru taxes.Isn't it fuuny, I've been hearing, "I gonna to lower your taxes" forever.Haven't seen it in my life time.Dem's want to raise taxes, yet Repub's want to buy now, pay later.Either way, we never seem to get much bang for the buck.

Bush just gave Financial Industry 1.3 trillion, and Auto industry has its hand out for 25 billion - are you saying he should not have and should not, in the case of auto industry?
Or only mothers with hungry children shoul dnot get welfare?
Last time.
When a Republican President signed a bill sent to him by a Democratic congress to bailout the shady, corrupted CEOs and gov. officials, my comment was and still is: Each and everyone of them should be take to the gallows and hung for treason.

Yet, where is it one class as in the poor class ripping off tax payers okay?

Millions of welfare recipients add up to billions of dollars yearly, close to the amt. of the corp. welfare fraud.

So you will hang one class but okay the other class.

The poor need to get up off their butts and work.

The wealthy in control of our gov. need to be tried for treason.

No difference, whichever you look at it, we the middle class are being screwed at both ends.

YES, I am saying mothers who are too lazy to work should not be rewarded with tax payers money because they CHOSE to lie down, spread their legs and pop a baby in and then pop it out and say, "Hey, you ignorant tax payers pay my way and any babies I decide to have with a man who refuses also to support his offspring."

A person is not CAPPED to only work one job. Just think if there is two parents, they can each get a full time and part time jobs which == to 3 full time jobs in one family. If a single parent as I was, they can get a full and a part time job.

Oh, the people down the street are doing drugs, so should everyone else in this area do drugs?

There is a serial killer in our state, so should everyone else become the serial killer?

There is a listing of child molesters in our state so people will know where they live and take caution, should we all become child molesters, even molest our own kids because someone else is?

The gov. is mostly made up of liars and scammers, so, should the poor people lie and scam their way into receiving welfare and all the freebies, just because they are poor?

This is your mindset. Instead of wanting ADULT people to be responsible for themselves regardless of class, you want to make innocent people who work responsible and then state our gov. is the greedy one and rich, so this qualifies the poor to rape us.

Know who gives and makes laws for the poor-----the corrupted, greedy government.

If Obama is elected, he will hand pick the judges. I can only imagine what laws they will enact. You will not even be able to say anything unless he approves. He will cater to one race.
He will open the doors of the prison while disarming the law-biding citizens. He will try to rid the Christians of their freedom of religion while enacting the Muslim-mandated to every citizen.

Still, so many people are truely blinded to this.

Let me ask you this - when does someone actually take responsibility for their own life? I will give you the opportunity to answer.

I am not denying there are people who need help, but is it possible that many of these people who are poor are there by choice? I thought all of our government schools would provide people the education (you know - the NEA union run schools where we are paying upwards of $15/k per student - oops, forgot about the liberals backing union....

Sir - I have seen people in welfare lines weighing 400 lbs, I have seen people in welfare lines with cell phones. I have seen people on public assistance receiving handouts from the Philadelphia public utilities commission - with a picture of a big screen tv and stereo system in the background.

If you are making the minimum in terms of wages - learn a trade, learn a skill set, take a class that will make you more marketable. You have the power of choice. The power of choice - you can sit on your ass all day or you can do something about it.

You are not a libertarian - as you have implied. You are coming across as liberal. Good try, though. The Federal government was not supposed to do what this socialist Obama has in mind. We already have general feeling that the state of NJ is a model end-result for the nation should Obama be elected.
No, sir - I do not want government healthcare or anything for that matter provided by the government other than sealing the borders and protecting the country. That is it! Ok.
We start losing our freedoms when we hand over to the government - first with social security where they promised the lockbox.****- no lockbox. Medicare - same thing. Now you liberals want government to run healthcare? Give me a break.
All of this costs someone else their freedom and rights. I will explain how. When your taxes go up - and you cannot afford to pay them. Your pal - the IRS comes to kick you out of your house. We are losing our rights in this country - these are the most basic rights as provided in the constitution.
I do not care for corporate welfare - so you are arguing with the wrong person. Then again - I hear this liberal **** about funding companies to push green initiatives - so I hear the hyprocrisy when it fits the liberal agenda.
The good of the ecomomy is for the government to stand back. The market corrects itself. Jobs belong to the employer, not vice-versa. If you were libertarian - you would agree with that.
Do not disagree with your points on the environment, people should have that responsibility. I do not like smoking, but it is not the role of government to tell people what they can and cannot do. We have the freedom of choice, sir.
I did not imply anything - I said I am a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.
I guess the most appropriate label is "Blue Dob" democrat.
Libertarian is to broad for me - I like the free will part, but it seems it could even include anarchist. Thanks but no thanks.

Barack Obama and a Legacy of Tax Increases

One of the main points of the Barack Obama campaign is that he has promised a tax cut for 95 percent of Americans.
It’s important to note that 30% of people in the country pay no federal income taxes. So, their “tax cut” is actually a welfare check.
But forget that huge lie for a second and think about his voting record. Obama has spent his time in the Senate voting for tax increases.
Obama has voted at least 94 times for higher taxes in the U.S. Senate.
But now, in this fragile economy, where Obama has plans to dramatically increase spending and cut taxes for “95% of Americans.
Come on, do you really believe this? Really?
Do the math.
http://obama2.com/archives/barack-obama-and-a...
Obama's 95% Illusion
It depends on what the meaning of 'tax cut' is.
One of Barack Obama's most potent campaign claims is that he'll cut taxes for no less than 95% of "working families." He's even promising to cut taxes enough that the government's tax share of GDP will be no more than 18.2%-- which is lower than it is today.
It's a clever pitch, because it lets him pose as a middle-class tax cutter while disguising that he's also proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%. But how does he conjure this miracle, especially since more than a third of all Americans already pay no income taxes at all? There are several sleights of hand, but the most creative is to redefine the meaning of "tax cut."
For the Obama Democrats, a tax cut is no longer letting you keep more of what you earn....

Obama will lower taxes on 95% of working families in America HE has said it so many times and written it so many times - I GUESS WE WILL HAVE THE NURSE READ IT FOR YOU.
2. Your largest argument is horrible even from your point of view
HE IS GOING TO LET BUSH TAX CUTS EXPIRED, so if you are correct BUSH gave the largest tax cut in history and wrecked the economy.
This is an adult blog, you have to know more than WIKIPEDIA.
3. Progressive tax system was instituted by Republican Teddy Roosevelt, he would probably spank you butt for saying it was socialistic. Also the Obama tax rate is same as under Clinton when Budget balanced and Economy soared.
So as for your feed - get a fact right and see us in 4 years.

I just got back from the polls, I was called to go help protect people's right to vote. This polling location has an army of Obama operatives working a nearly 90% republican area that had lines averaging 4-5 hours. The Obama operatives were telling those in lines that they were lawyers and that they would take the voters names and information and vote for them so they could go home to their kids. They also were telling them that they might as well go home because once it became 6 pm that they wouldn't be allowed to vote even if in line. This and other horrible Alinsky type of voter intimidation was happening all over the state. Once I got there, and others from our side, we were able to keep these people at an allowable distance and kept them from continuing to lie to the voters. These Obama operatives are as much scum as their candidate is.

How did Bush tax cuts wreck the economy? Please explain.

We find ourselves this evening in a true dichotomy of momentous events, and emotions in America. Never before have we had such a truly exciting and uplifting moment where we see historic barriers crumble and hopefully all celebrate together the election of a black man as President of The United States. This is truly a moment of national celebration due to this. Congratulations to the Obama's and all his campaign on this magnificent event.

With that said, the other side of the dichotomy is equally, if not more, a cause of great tragedy to America, and all Americans for the foreseeable future. We as a nation have finally fulfilled Nikita Khrushchev's prophecy of voting to destroy the American that has always been the envy of the world. Those who will be most hurt by this will be those young kids who were such an important part of Obama's campaign. They worked for, and voted to cause a greatly diminished opportunity for themselves in America. Their own dreams will be now have ceilings that they will no longer be able to climb over due to the type of Socialist policies we will soon see by Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. All Americans will pay a huge price for tonight, most of those who voted for Obama will be shocked when they see what he does, and will be sorry to their last breath for their part in it.

So, we should all celebrate the historic, significant, and inspiring victory by an African American. Just as we should all mourn the end of America as the shining city on the hill, the beacon of hope for the whole world to aspire to emulate, since we just elected someone who wants to emulate the failed policies of Eastern Europe.

For those who understand the true impact of what just happened last night and are fearful for our country, our futures, and those of our children and grandchildren, take heart. The sun came up this morning, God is still in control. Why He allowed America to be tested with the election of this man is not yet clear. However, we can still prevail.
Take a few days off, rest from the battle, but then jump right back into the war against this man and the Marxist regime he represents. Our focus now needs to be watching Pelosi and Reid along with the feeding frenzy that will be started immediately with the far left in the democrats. They are going to be emboldened to take away many of our freedoms and expand government's reach into all of our lives like never before in history. We need to stay aware of what they are doing behind closed doors, and fight, howl and scream against them. We may have to change our very nature and become more like them to beat them. Let's face it, civil disobedience, protests, boycotts, are all things that liberals do, not conservatives, we are too busy working and taking care of our families. However, Obama proved that through Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" Chicago style thug politics work, we need to fight fire with fire.
We also need to identify, and get behind the campaign to elect conservatives to the House and Senate in 2010. This is a grand opportunity. After the American people get a taste of what Obama's programs along with Pelosi and Reid for two years the House and Senate should be ours. Remember it took a Jimmy Carter to give us a Ronald Reagan, and it took the first two years of Clinton to give us the first Republican House and Senate in 46 years. Once we retake the House and Senate we can totally emasculate anything Obama wants to do. Who knows, we might even be able to have him impeached and rid ourselves of him once and for all.
The key is to take heart, and get back into the fight. We need to take the energy we used during this election, and focus it on first fighting Congress, then on to retaking Congress. In the mean time, we must fight such things as the "fairness doctrine." That will be one of the first things that Obama and the democrats will go for so they can silence any and all critics of them and their policies. We may well see filters on the Internet as they have in most Communist countries so we won't be able to access any negative news about them or their activities. We must stand up, fight, protest, in other words act like them. Even they can't stand up to nearly half of America marching against them.
If we sit back and do nothing, we are on track for an American Castro, or Chavez in office. That cannot stand. It is time to re-energize and go back into battle my fellow Americans!
