The Boston Globe Endorses Huntsman

There are 34 comments on the www.thedailybeast.com story from Jan 5, 2012, titled The Boston Globe Endorses Huntsman. In it, www.thedailybeast.com reports that:

The Daily Beast reports:

The Iowa caucuses haven't changed The Boston Globe 's mind about Jon Huntsman. The newspaper announced its endorsement of the candidate Thursday, because of his "vision and national unity."...The bottom line of the editorial: though Romney will probably win the nomination, a Huntsman victory in New Hampshire could influence Romney—and make Mitt a better candidate.

Weigh in: does it help or hurt the Republican Party to have endorsements like this?

Mr. Huntsman has no chance to becoming a viable gopher candidate - he is too rational, too reasoned, too unfringed and his qualifications in China should count in the big scheme of politics.

He should take the 'R" away from his name and he will be successful.

It's all relative. Huntsman looks good when compared to the other Republican clowns. And Chris Christie looks slim when compared to Eastern Europe.
I give Huntsman a 4, just for not foaming at he mouth.

The question now remains, WHAT IS OBAMA's end game plan to get elected.......Start a war in Iran or to pray his billion dollars in attack ads along with the Marxist Media will fool enough morons to again get the job done. I think bombing Iran is the goal. He he sending troops to Israel.........for what if not preperation. It can't be only a symbolic act to apease the Israeli's for his ignoring their safety in the past. He won't protect our borders, but he will Israel's.

Huntsman does not like, how strong of an influence, the Tea Party has on the GOP, so he may never get the respect he deserves.....He actually worked within Reagan and both Bush administrations......and is smart enough to debate Obama's ears off......

Huntsman will drop out after South Carolina or Florida and get behind Mitt. Right now he's not seriously campaigning for President, but for a cabinet post.

Romney stated today, that the problems with the economy, aren't Obama's fault......but, failures to deal with them are.......seems a slippery slope to me.....

I must say, after hearin Huntsman talk, he is impressive. I noticed that he and Obama are both starting to echo some of RON PAUL's sentiments about our boated military spending. At this point, I'm still supporting RON PAUL because he's sticking it to all the rest and making them ALL more ACCOUNTABLE. I will never vote for Romney. I agree that Romney is a liar.

At this point, Gingrich serves no purpose in continuing a campaign.

He might as well go home to Georgia and .... suck an egg.

Seems to be a lot of inside hankypanky going on in the Huntsman campaign.
