Kerry: Obama 'knows he has the power' to attack

Sep 1, 2013 Full story: Politico 422

Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday said if the Assad regime in Syria "were to be foolish enough to attack yet again and to do something in the meantime," President Barack Obama "knows he has the power" to attack unilaterally and would likely "move very, very rapidly" - but "he feels we are stronger" moving with congressional authorization.

Obama hasn't the balls to be in the same room as Putin. I bet Putin follows him around just to tick him off.

Kerry just put out that the arab world would fund the US to overthrow Syria.
I swear its the nuts running the asylum!
Kerry such an incompetent dolt. It's one thing to be told this and another as secretary of state to repeat it. He was baited and took it to make the US look even more idiotic.
He too was against war before he was for war. Hahahaha. Just like messiah.

There was no flip flops on the greatest evil government wealth transfer in history with the housing collapse and the no interest at the banks and other things. The false constitution is a joke at this point. Pay us our money back.

This is the same Kerry who lied about his service to essentially award himself medals and who lied about being in Cambodia on Christmas Day in 1968 when in fact according to his crewmates they NEVER went into Cambodia. Putin is right - Kerry IS a liar.

Even Putin calls Kerry a liar. A drastic lack of respect for Obama's lackey.

Kerry lied about being in Cambodia on Christmas Day in 1968 according to his fellow sailors. Kerry also wrote his own reports recommending him for medals that he did not deserve. Moors his boat in Rhode Island to avoid paying Massachusetts taxes while always voting to raise taxes.

the Viet Cong as nasty and vicious as they were, never sold out their own in their beliefs. In America, everybody has a price. There are a lot of avenues in that. But those who exhibit that in wars with no honor and with all that comes with it is a major weakness.

Right and wrong means nothing to many. But to a progressive/rino/neo con it is pure agenda. and if this goes down the wrong way as to the elitists goals, a false flag or another avenue will be found. And we will be conditioned to love it.

Eight months into his presidency Bush had repeated "dire"
warnings about terrorists striking the U.S. and ignored
the warnings. He was also advised that the yellowcake
theory was a fraud. Thanks to Joseph C. Wilson. Over
800 inspections by the U.N. clearly established the fact
that there were no WMD in Iraq. Bush & Company chose to
ignore it.
The Iraq Liberation Act (Oct 1998) made regime change in Iraq official U.S. policy.
It passed 360-38 in the U.S. House of Representatives, and by unanimous consent in the Senate. Rep Pelosi said "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process".
In Dec 1998, Clinton ordered Operation Desert Fox, a four-day bombardment of Iraq with the declared purpose of degrading Iraq's weapons of mass destruction capability.

If Iraq had no wmd's, then Clinton was bombing and attempting to degrade something that wasn't there. Now that's odd.

Here, I'll push back:
In September 2004, Vice Admiral Ronald A. Route, the NAVY INSPECTOR GENERAL, completed a review of Kerry's combat medals, initiated at the request of Judicial Watch. In a memo to Secretary of the Navy Gordon R. England, Route stated:
"Our examination found that existing documentation regarding the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart medals indicates the awards approval process was properly followed. In particular, the senior officers who awarded the medals were properly delegated authority to do so. In addition, we found that they correctly followed the procedures in place at the time for approving these awards. Conducting any additional review regarding events that took place over 30 years ago would not be productive. The passage of time would make reconstruction of the facts and circumstances unreliable, and would not allow the information gathered to be considered in the context of the time in which the events took place. Our review also considered the fact that Senator Kerry's post-active duty activities were public and that military and civilian officials were aware of his actions at the time. For these reasons, I have determined that SENATOR KERRY"S AWARDS WERE PROPERLY APPROVED and will take no further action in this matter."
"PROPERLY APPROVED"!!!!
This is from the Inspector General, not from some disgruntled
guys who are jealous of Kerry's achievements.
You are not so bright. The issue is not that the process was flawed but rather that the information given to justify the awards in the first place was bogus. Like many liberals, you excel at lying by omission.

I believe you are underestimating that folks are considering the rights and wrongs on the Syria issue and whatever happens means a lot.

I believe the ALOT is compounded for those with long/short memories of what happened in Iraq.

Obama seems to be spending more time on Syria than Benghazi . Look after your own house before trying to clean everyone else's how many people died in Chicago since this Syria thing started. Clean your own mess up first
