Of course, countries with only 6 million people are much easier than the melting pot of America with 320 million and more freedoms to maintain.

You seem to be bouncing off the walls a bit. Wall street has little to do with freedoms or the difference of maintaining a tiny country vs the greatest. Freedoms and the Republic we serve come at a price. Is it perfect, no, but neither is all the socialistic European countries either. We still have people risking there lives to come here.........not so much the countries that are trying to destroy us or the people here that call themselves liberals.

GM's CEO rejects repaying Feds for bailout losses...

WASHINGTON -- The General Motors bailout may have cost the government $10 billion, but GM CEO Dan Akerson rejects any suggestion that the company should compensate for the losses. This of course doesn't count the 43 billion Obama gave to the GM's Union that taxpayers will never see..........except those of course that are Union Members.

fox news tax cheats wrote:
Fox News has benefitted from government largess for years; it is time to stop and to make Fox pay its own way. Reports as far back as 1999, show Fox’s parent company has exploited tax laws to avoid levies that all other citizens have to pay.
On consolidated pre-tax profits of $3.95 billion at that time, News Corporation and its subsidiaries paid an effective tax rate of only around 6%. By comparison, Disney, one of the world’s other media empires, paid 31%. Basic corporate-tax rates in Australia, America and Britain, the three main countries in which News Corporation operates, are 36%, 35% and 30%.
When giant, prosperous, multinational corporations get out of their tax obligations, ordinary citizens are the ones who are forced to make up the shortfall. That is effectively a tax subsidy for the corporations funded by you and me and all of the indignant Tea Partiers who claim to oppose special interest favors for the elites.
The article goes on to describe how News Corp used a complex network of accounting dodges - including as many as 60 shell companies that were incorporated in such tax havens as the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the Netherlands Antilles and the British Virgin Islands.

And who owned 1/2 of NBC until this year 2013? GE

http://money.cnn.com/2013/02/12/news/companie...

Fox's 6% is larger than Goldman Sachs 1% tax rate.

There are loopholes all over the tax code some newER and some old like the tax exemption the National Football League(NFL) has gotten since 1966 along with the Professional Golf Association(PGA).

Unfortunately tax loop holes become bargaining chips to be bought and sold in those back smoke filled room deals.

That is an tax accountant's job to legally save as much money in taxes as possible. The "PROfessional" politicians give them the tools to do their job at our expense.

Facebook not to pay taxes 2nd year in a row.

Loophole involves paying employees in stock options. The company itself determines wether it wants to issue stock options or not. So they basically manufactured their own tax loophole.
