Too bad the Prez felt he had to talk to the #1 source for no-information voters.
He could have talked about cats for an hour with the same results.

Instead of bashing people who dont agree with you, why not bring some civility to the concversation. Here I will show you how its done.

I felt the President handled Bill quite well. He had some tuff questions to answer (not the usual softballs) and though they may not have been the answers I wanted to hear, they were honest and forthright as I would expect from a sitting President. facing a media "adversary". The President could have blown this off and ignored Bill and his offer but instead showed an effort to work across the aisle by attending this "interview". A step in the right direction if you ask me. If this country is gonna get anywhere, we have to work together. that means tone down on the rhetoric ("low information voters" like the previous user attempted to use in an off topic, useless, attack of Fox News viewers as if thats going to help anyone) and grow up..

Almost as boring as the Super Bowl itself. O' Reilly sucks and so do his co-written cheesy books. If you want to see sparks fly have Obama agree to be interviewed by someone like Michelle Malkin, Mark Levin, or Michael Savage

Well spoken, and bi-partisanship is the only way forward, but the Teahadists will brand you a Librul over that one.

The President went on Fox, because he wanted to be seen. No one watches CNN, or MSNBC. He was brave to sit down with O'Reilly, but he looked disoriented, and unprepared to answer real questions.

Fox plays to their base - simpletons who just can't let go of debunked manufactured crisis's.
IRS was already debunked - even Issa won't bring this one up again - he was made a fool of.
But you simpletons sure don't mind - facts just don't disway the intellectually inept.
Why are you people not screaming at the almost 3000 people that died on American soil during a republican presidency? Or the almost 5000 that died in a fake war in Iraq? Or all the oil Bush stated emphatically would pay for the war? But 4 died in Benghazi, for you simpletons, this was a massacre?
You GOP imbeciles are truly the sick ones.

Yes, Obama was a hoot, trying to do as liberals do and take over the conservation so Bill couldn't do follow up questions. Obama is a master of eating up time so the interviewer can't finish what the interview was to bring out. Obama spent ten minutes running from Benghazi with lies and diversions.

Not even a smidgen of corruption’: Obama downplays IRS, other scandals
President Obama, in an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, tried to put behind him the scandals that have hung over his second term, suggesting his administration did not mislead the public on...

OF COURSE HE DIDN'T MISLEAD THE PUBLIC, HE DOWNRIGHT LIED AS HE USUALLY DOES.

You are correct. His soul purpose was to be seen. His personal numbers are still diving and his one chance to change that is to be seen in a presidential setting. Even though he was very evasive as usual and avoided answering the questions quite skillfully, it was still the same blah blah blah.

True bravery was the call to get Osama bin Laden... sitting down to do an interview with Bill O'Reilly has nothing to do with the bravery; President Obama fully recognize Bill O'Reilly for the joke that he is.
Body language is everything in an interview, it says far more than words. President Obama was calm, sat back in his chair, relaxed and confident as Bill leaned forward looking stiff and awkward. Bill lost control very early as he was disarmed by a calm, smiling, concise and well versed President who could see through the charade that was scripted against him. Bill's pre-planned Inquisition of manufactured scandals and dishonesties were easily repelled by truth. Bill O'Reilly was emasculated buy a cool and calm, reflective and knowledgeable President. All of the non scandals evaporated while Bill flapped his jaws leaning even more forward trying to affect a position of power. But calmness, being quietly spoken, forthright in answers, smiling at the ease of knocking Bill off his stride and pointing out that Fox is a conspiracy theory Channel had the president come out we'll ahead.
Now here's the challenge; how about a prominent Republican manning up to face Rachel Maddow... will never happen, LOL.

As has stated: O’Reilly was aggressive, constantly challenging the president, and Obama didn’t get rattled, though at a couple of points he certainly looked peeved. But Bill had a stark choice, given the 10-minute time limit: keep interrupting Obama or allow him to run out the clock.

So fux fux and fux.

Interestingly some faint non-fuxite praise from O'Reilley:

“I know you think maybe we haven’t been fair but I think your heart is in the right place.”

And the President used humor to make his points.
